  1. Did AJ sign a new long term contract? You guys mentioned he’s locked up for a while but his current contract ends next year. Is there new reporting? Shildt and Niebla are currently extended beyond AJ.

  2. How many endorsement deals in Japan has Yu received? I think LA offers more access to Japanese market. The number of Japanese companies flooding LA is unreal. And they even have an airline with exclusive flights to Dodgers games. Not to mention they can sell Roki on starting one of their opening day games in Japan against the Cubs.

  3. Biggest thing that concerns me is, Does he ask are the Padres looking to cut payroll. If the answer is yes, then there's no way I'm considering them

  4. Padres setting themselves up to be disappointed. They've literally done nothing waiting around for Sasaki and every other contender getting better. Trade Cease so LA can pick him up in FA.

  5. Pretty simple you want to play with two divas Machado and Tatis or two countrymen one being the Goat and nicest man in baseball the other closer to your age and you’ve had bbqs with.

  6. Reasons why Sasaki WILL NOT sign with the Padres #1 Padres cutting payroll, Sasaki will want to sign a long term contract when eligible . #2 Sasaki is looking for a winning team that is consistently in the playoffs #3 Dodgers not only have the money to sign Sasaki, They are the most popular MLB Team in Japan.#4 Sasaki will make Millions more in endorsements playing for the world champion LA Dodgers and along side Ohtani and Yamamoto

  7. You keep mentioning how good their pitching development is but they never say why. You just say look at the job Niebla has done. Then you question the dodgers pitching development asking who they developed apart from Walker Buehler as if the dodgers don’t sign pitchers that struggled heavily and become elite bullpen arms.

  8. Roki didn't want any current player during his team meetings so no one influences his decision. His agent said that he spoke to Roki and advised him to make his decision based on comfort and what HE wants and not what others say. Just the same way he advised Yoshinobu before he came over

  9. Roki can potentially be an ace in SD, but will be the back of the rotation in LA? šŸ˜‚ What are you trying to say about your pitching rotation? šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ Is your pitching rotation that bad? And you’re asking him to come to SD? So your pitching takes the backseat to LA, and your lineup takes the backseat to LA. The front office takes the backseat to LA, and the organization takes the backseat to LA. Plus, the Pobres have no money and bad contracts. Nice way to recruit Roki.

  10. If Roki is back of the rotation pitcher, isn’t that a bigger challenge for him to overcome whilst winning a championship? What bigger challenge is there than being the ace of the Dodgers, beating out Ohtani, Yamamoto, Glasnow, Snell, and Kershaw?

  11. Sasaki can make a great great name for himself
to be one of the greatest…just to kick start his career

by being the winning pitcher in the World series for the 1st Padre World Series winners…e ver

*what a Legacy to have as a young man starting his career he would have the key to San Diego for life

That wouldn't mean as much…as if it was in San Diego since LA has won a World Series obviously…

after 60 years of pining and whining and getting so close.. to the World Series opportunities and failing

but then finally SD Padres and Sasaki -he becomes the winning pitcher to put the San Diego MLB Padres …finally over the top…

by winning their first world championship

No greater opportunity to be great and the greatest

not only in the west coast of USA for San Diego

but increase his notoriety and early Fame as a youngster starting his career

by winning and helping San Diego finally get victory

You couldn't get any greater in in the start of your career in the United States in the MLB by helping a team almost 60 years of hadn't been able to clinch it

but with the help of Sasaki that would be much greater than anything La could ever offer…

  12. You need to have better takes. Thats why you have no subscribers and have to mention that you have another channel that combines for a hefty 10k.

  13. If you’re a team going after Roki because you think he’ll be your Ace then you’re going about it all wrong. He still needs development. Taking it slow with this guy by having a deep lineup is your best bet on landing him.

  14. I see a lot if comments here saying the Dodgers spend and the Padres aren't, even cutting payroll.

I'm surprised to see so many ignorant how MLB works

Every team is constrained by the luxury and competitive thresholds No matter how much money any tem makes, they're limited to the same player payroll and few teams go above thise threaholds anymore. The Yankees used to regularly go over but no more. Boston ysed to go over but ni more

The point is, teams can choose to overspend but the penalties hit hard if a team stays over consecutive years so generally every team wants to spend up to close to the threshold but not go over.

Because of the Ohtani signing, the Didgers have decided to go over for the next few years so it looks like it's in fir a penny, it's in for a pound. The Dodgers are going to soend like crazy early but it can't last and will see gradual belt tighteng every year starting next year until they're back under in 5 years or sooner.

The Padres on the other hand are one if the handful of teans that are making enough money to spend all the way up to the threshold but as a matter of policy are staying under, thereby not wasting fans' money by being penalized. If the Padres can shave several million before the season starts, then there's flexibility to cover injuries and maybe do a mid season trade deadline signing

That's what Roki will be considering Are the Dodgers making the right decision that could blow up in their face if one or more signings turn out badly or is the Padres organization run better with the flexibility to address needs mid season to get to the World Series?

  15. SMELL A ( LA) is NOT the Option –Ā

    LA as aĀ  city stinks…Ā

that's why alot of Los Angeles on the Friday afternoons leaveĀ

and come down to San Diego

  16. The teammates just aren’t Ć  good fit for Sasaki those overpaid arrogant immature Padres will be a negative influence long term for Sasaki the only logical choice is either Mets or Dodgers.

  17. Padres not getting Sasaki him to LA makes too much sense padres don’t have much too offer outside of a old darvish who has what two years left it that

  18. Roki wants to be the GOAT.
    Roki wants to win.
    Roki evaluating the front office.
    Roki looking at ownership.
    Roki looking at rosters.
That means….. He ain't signing with the broke low budget organization like the Padres.
