He deserves it. Playoffs every year that he has been a manager, all but 1 division champions, 2 out of 4 WS Championships, a master of the locker room. Plus paying Dave Roberts doesn’t count against the luxury tax, lets lock up and pay the man!

In my mind he’s worth it. That man showed how good of a manager he was in the 2024 playoffs. Worth every penny they give him.

Gonna get downvoted but the dude is overrated. 3 MVP’s in your lineup and multiple Allstars throughout the roster. It’s like playing MLB The Show and forcing trades to go through. Fringe backup Left Fielder is 17Mil. Baseball is unpredictable though a team getting hot at the right time can propel them deep in the Postseason. That squad in LA is different than the other 29 teams in the League. Give Mark Kotsay or the Chi Sox that type of talent and they would do great too. Miami’s new Manager gonna see real quick “How the other side” lives now that he is out of LA. Take Snitker over him anyday of the week. (See 2024 Braves season) still made the Postseason with scrap heaps and castoffs.
