They’re the TMZ of sports journalism at this point. Every major media outlet exists now solely with a profit motive, which means lowest common denominator. And sometimes just outright serving their own agendas, but not the fans.
Instead of complaining or mocking the lack of coverage and the devolution of these outlets, lets celebrate people like this guy:
A few of his takes have already been shared, but I really like him, and who knows maybe he becomes the next gen of sports media. There was a time when Bill Simmons was just a lowly sports columnist.
Things only stay the same, if we let them.
I love the Cavs and Cleveland fans. Can I say, who cares? I don’t really understand caring if National media covers us. Just keep winning
