The Cleveland Cavaliers Are Going To Win a Championship…

The Cleveland Cavaliers are on a 72 win pace right now with a great offence and stifling defence.

This team is the real deal. Early I was sceptical on this team giving the lack of a super star presence the team had but we are now 31 games into the season and they still have only lost 4 games. That is a large enough sample size to call it, I don’t think there is anything fluky going on here and the stats agree.

  1. Yes, Their Legit Contenders, I’ve Seen A Leap In Garlands Game This Season, Ty Jerome Is A Good 6th Man For Them Off The Bench, Just Need Everyone To Show Up In The Postseason

  2. I can't believe how much this team is being overlooked. First few weeks off to a hot start, okay if you think it's just a lucky streak go nuts. But 30 wins. And FOUR. LOSSES. FOUR. IT'S JANUARY. Any fan of any team that's saying "ohh the Cavs won't beat so n so in a 7 game series" you're absolutely bonkers. Can the cavs lose in the playoffs? Absolutely. But there isn't a single team that should feel excited to play 7 games with Cleveland right now.

  3. This year is the turning point. Their young talent have risen to another level. Mobley doesn't play soft and is actually a 3 point threat. Garland and Mitchell have learned how to share the court and the Cavs are playing with pace and shooting to boot.

  4. True superstar? Spida Mitchell is the bomb—how many players can score 70 points in a single game? Only a handful.

In addition, you have 2 All-Star and a budding star in Mobley in the making.

Stick to talking about teams you actually know something about. Cavs GM Koby Altman has been quietly building a team that can become a dynasty over the last three seasons.

Remember all the hype when they played three 7-footers? That was no accident. Altman is a genius, carefully acquiring pieces to trade for the players he really wanted.

The final piece of the puzzle was finding the right coach to elevate this team to the next level.
For the past five years, we’ve all seen the Cavs emphasize the need for the right coach to pair with their young talent they have been building.

    —Coach Kenny Atkinson

  5. That was a very fair assessment. Excellent breakdown. As a cavs fan im just enjoying lhe winning, team focused approach. The scary thing is this team will continue to get better. The road will go through Cleveland as long ad they handle their business and play their brand of ball. The celtics are the champs until dethroned but they are not unbeatable like some may have us believe.

  6. Superstar era is over. It’s been a negative on the game and especially the teams. It made salary caps inflated leaving no space for growth or resigning role players.
