Card collector here and overall NBA fan. Got this rare rookie Bufkin autograph. Doesn’t seem like he’s doing too hot. Any reason to hope this card could be worth a lot bases on following him more than I do?

  1. He looks good enough to play minutes as a mid tier backup already and he has tons of potential long term. The plan was for him to get a lot of minutes at backup this year but then he got hurt and now his season is over.

He’s been injured a lot in the last 2 years. That’s obviously not great but it doesn’t mean he won’t develop into a good NBA player one day.

No point in selling low on him as a card collector IMO.

  2. Icl bruh that card ain’t never gonna be worth shit😭😭. Might as well keep it tho, cuz u not getting shit if u sell it now

  3. Appreciate the insight. Wasn’t going to sell – no point now. Was just curious if there is any hope of an all star appearance in the next decade.

  4. He looked electric in spurts in g-league and his career at Michigan was nice. Don’t listen to the negativity here, the dude will turn 22 in September. A lot of playing time for him yet. The injury bug and optimally being Trae’s back up limits him for now, as well as this being a lost season. I’d hold for sure, unless you really need the money for a Taco Bell run for now lol.
