In the last 48 hours I’ve had random followings and DM’s from fake Darvish IG pages. I could never imagine the guy bored to network on IG let alone speaking English like this.. so thought I’d share the amusement I have from this.

  1. This is definitely not Yu, so it’s fake, as you’ve pointed out. However, Yu speaks excellent English. We just don’t see that because it’s easier for him to speak his native tongue because of his **massive** following in Japan. There’s lots of interviews of him speaking English and I’m not going to lie… his English is better than a lot people’s English that I know personally.

  2. It’s him. He’s a good guy. In December he had some issues with some flights so I had to send him $500 to get to San Diego but he said he’s going to hook me up with some front row tickets next year which is kind.

    He also had some issues getting to the Roki Sasaki meeting so I had to send him $100 for that.

    But a good dude, nice, great English speaker. Slight Nigerian accent which I wasn’t expecting tbh.
