  1. Stop complaining Steeler fans, not easy to win in the NFL. Enjoy the success that you had. Hey, you could be a Bills fan that witnessed 4 Super Bowl losses and a 17 year playoff drought

  2. On School of Golf,Coach Martin always says"if you keep doing what you've been doing, you"all keep getting what you've been getting"! Soon as the game started and I saw Najee at running back,Sutton as slot corner, they were not going to move T.J. around AND give Nick Herbig more playing time….I knew we were destined to lose. What group on this team has gotten better as the season went on? Is Alex Smith the right OC? O line coach doing a good job? Entire defensive staff is awful!! They can't fix jack sh*#.! At what point do you give another couple of O linemen a chance? Stick a fork in them….for 2024-25 they are DONE!

  3. Smith no better than Canada. Tomlin knows nothing about offense. How can a good HC hire these guys? Big Ben was his own OC – he called his own plays in no huddle. But Tomlin got credit for Ben winning games. Tomlin is a fraud.

  4. I am not entirely onboard with Fire Tomlin….yet. if they don't oust Austin after this season, then I'm all onboard. I don't care if Austin is actually the DC, or a front for Tomlin. Either way, there's no reason to keep Austin around. Get a REAL DC who has actually had past success to run this defense.

Pat Meyer also needs to go.

But my patience wears thin. The fireable offenses by Tomlin was in 2021/2022. Besides the horrendous drafting in Colbert's later years, we then have promoting Matt Canada to OC, and then promoting Teryl Austin to DC one year later while letting Flores take off to Minnesota. Just atrocious decisions. What were the credentials of Canada and Austin? The former got run out of college. The latter got run out of Detroit and then somehow was so bad in Cincy, it resulted in Marvin Lewis being canned. And then Tomlin doubles down on these two clowns for an extra year or two.

  5. The difference between Cowher and Tomlin, Cowher surrounded himself with great coaches with no fear of his job, I think Tomlin hires weak coaches thinking he is protecting his job.

  6. WHY IS EVERYONE ACTING LIKE WE NOT IN THE PLAYOFFS FOR THE second year in a row .. look at the bengals .. look at the jets , giants, PATRIOTS! Everything is ok .. c u next week

  7. All the Coaches need to go. If Tomlin is going to stay, then the OC, DC, WR Coach, OL Coach… they all should go for people that actually might threaten Tomlin as a replacement HC that's actually in the room.

  8. Actually DK, I think Warren was kind of fibbing a bit. If you watch the broadcast, Warren was getting up slow after almost every touch. And after that 9-yard gain in the second half he got up very very slowly and he didn't see the field after that. So I don't know what was bothering him but he obviously was not healthy enough to go back into the game

  9. I've been a Tomlin supporter his entire stint with the team. I've backed him and trusted him to make the right adjustments and moves to have this football team succeed. I no longer believe he can hold this locker room down and have them disciplined and prepared enough to win football games. His ego hurts this team year in and year out. He promises change and very rarely delivers on that promise. He tells us what we want to hear and does nothing. I no longer wish for this man to be the head football coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers. I would wish him the best of luck on any future endeavors, I don't hate the guy but in order to return to dominance they need a new voice and a new leader who takes significant action towards putting the team in the best situations to win. And Tomlin no longer does those things. Rooney needs to take action himself and save this franchise from any further damage. PS4L!!!!!

  10. Jaylen been a bigger threat for explosive plays between him and Najee from the beginning. Najees a grind it out kill the clock back and that's it. Jaylen should've been the starter last year. Our offense honestly hasn't improved by much since last year. I don't get it . We should trade George Pickens while he still has some value because in the direction he's heading it won't be long before you won't be able to get a 5-6 round pic for him. We have a rookie 3rd round pic who's supposedly worked his way back healthy and even though we may have the worse receiving room in the whole AFC we don't throw the kid in and give him a shot it can't be any worse than what we seen last night. Tomlins a motivation type coach and not really an Xs and Os coach and you can see that fact raise its ugly head in every close/tight game were in. The time management play calling and personnel substitutions are horrendous

  11. Can you please ask Tomlin why Najee still gets the start and majority of carries? We all have eyes and the offense is far better when Warren is in the game.

  12. 12 pass attempts through 3 1/2 quarters after throwing for 415 passing yards on this same team a month ago is fireable worthy. I just can’t believe an NFL vet staff would be that dumb…it’s incomprehensible how horribly coached that game was.

  13. The two failed 1 yard for a 1st plays baffled me. Why not run an option with Fields and Washington. Tell me that wouldn't net at least a yard or more.

  14. You said it !!! my agreement fully. Tomlin's stubborn, arrogant, ignorance is evident. The business of winning is putting out a "going out of business" sign. Ten days to prepare, questionable personnel deployment decisions, predictable play calling, practice walk throughs to remedy communication problems, clock management issues. What's changed ? Same results. ENOUGH !

  15. Just a personal note: This will be the most listened-to episode of Daily Shots since the program began five years ago. I get that there are reasons for that beyond the show itself, but I'd be remiss if I didn't express very real gratitude here. –

  16. The steelers have always been way way…..WAY too cheap to keep anybody good. Our x pkayers are making plays all over the league. On teams that are more solid than ours. Mike Merriweather was the start. They drafted him. Built a defense around him. We were the strongest defense at that point…again. the off season he wanted a raise. Gone. Every tine a player actually DOES what they are drafted fior…..what happens when they come up for a raise?? Gone. So these guys that think that this company cares about winning are asleep. They sell out every seat every year for every game. And winning doesn't alter that. Mabye 1 more game revenue for a pkayoff. They don't care. They're MAKING their money. Screw the steelers. Another late year fade that's a lousy stat to hang your career on. Mike always says "that's on me " ….yeah. year after year let's see…since mr tomlin we changed offensive coordinators….defensive coordinators….offensive and defensive line coaches….reciever running back and linebacker ciaces….special teams too…..the one constant here is tomlin. Year after year after year with the late season fade followed by the 1st round liss. Winning every year?? Not to ME winning? Yeah tgat's 12 13 14 15 win years and championship game and / or suoer biwls. THAT'S winning. On you mike? Ok….SEE YOU LATER.

  17. 2 things…I've noticed this weekend that most teams that are successful at running the football use a lead blocker periodically especially in short yardage situations…why don't we do that more…also successful teams play very happy…Steelers haven't been playing happy in a long time…

  18. The change needed is a head coach. Everyone brags up the accomplishment of no losing seasons. Who cares? It's how you perform when it really matters. Since they won the Super Bowl in 2010, how many years have they had any wins in the playoffs? Answer; 3 years out of 14 they actually produced at least one win. Under Tomlin they have completely missed the playoffs 6 times since 2010. So they have actually missed the playoffs twice as many years as they have produced at least one win. Let's not forget then to mention how much talent Tomlin has squandered in those years. You cannot continue to blame players when the same head coach has 11 out 14 years of playoff failure. It truly matters when you have the opportunity to prove your value. Tomlin has failed worse than any coach in football given this many opportunities. The ownership is also taking much of this failure responsibility. Someone keeps signing him. Tomlin has a great post game though. "We just have to be better at executing". Lol. Ok.
