The Chicago Bears defeated the Green Bay Packers to conclude their 2024 season and end their 11-game losing streak vs Green Bay. Special teams started the scoring on a trick play with Josh Blackwell taking it 94 yards to the house. Later, Jaylon Johnson forced a fumble to put the Bears in scoring range. D’Andre Swift cashed it in on a 4-yard TD run. The Packers recovered a DJ Moore fumble, followed by a long field goal to take a 1-point lead Caleb Williams and the offense marched down the field to set Cairo Santos up for a game-winning field goal attempt.   8. The win mattered more–in terms of team morale, development, confidence, mental health–than going up one spot in the draft. I'm normally on team tankjob, but I wanted this one for the players. Caleb especially deserved it, for all the work he's done in the 4th quarter.

    I don't normally make grand statements about this team, but this feels like the turning point. Spend a shitload of money in free agency on the O-line, draft some good players, hire the right HC, work on developing Caleb and this team will be special.

  9. Woot is a favorite former Bear, but disagree with him as a former player. Love started that game and had to go out due to the D getting to him. This was NOT a second-stringer game. They were competing with him and when he went out. They deserve FULL credit for competing and not laying down in that game.

  10. Not trying to make in speculations but I watched the video of the locker room after the game and Poles wasn't in there. Poles wasn't in there and i don't think Ian Cunningham was in there either. But Kevin Warren was there front and center.

  21. Dont understand this take from a former Bear. Moral victory??!! Its a freakn VICTORY against the freakn Packers douche. Who cares if it’s against backups. Who cares about draft positioning. How’s that helped them in the last 30 yrs. This was the best way to finish a pathetic season especially for Caleb. Great job by this team not to go hide after the fumble and go out and take the win back from the Packers.

  25. When Caleb throws more pass yards they tend to lose – NO $HIT – when he gets a ton of late game yards their HC fumbles the ball and loses the game for them. That’s why he got fired mid-season.
