[Heyman] Hearing at least for now Luis Arraez is not seen as a fit for Yankees

  1. One part of this sub is gonna be breathing a sigh of relief and another part is gonna be raging at the FO. I’m honestly on the 1st side of things; batting title is amazing but lack of defense and baserunning is not what this team needs.

  2. Sooooo are we just going to trot out the rotting corpse of LeMahieu at third base then

  3. Cuz the Pads aren’t willing to eat the amount of money the Yankees want them to. Same reason Arenado isn’t on the team. If the Pads or Cards up the cash they’d eat one of them will be on the Yankees.

  4. I’m not losing sleep over this but I also wouldn’t trust anything Heyman says. He’s a clown that has no ties to this team but Boris clients. He’s a fucking Mets homer too.

  5. Arraez is not a fit. Lux isn’t either, Torres nope, Nolan either nor Bregman… okay then who?

  6. It never made sense salary wise imo. He’s owed a good bit of money next year and both SD and us are likely try to dump a bit of money

  7. Bad base running and ad defense, you’d hope the Yankees wouldn’t go back on their mission statement

  8. I feel like maybe they were trying to get Lux but Dodgers were asking too much so the Arraez stuff was a misdirect. But now Lux is off to Cincy so… nope.

  9. I don’t love Arraez but if the option for an infielder is between him and some combination of DJ Peraza and Oswaldo I’d rather take Arraez

  10. This is the third team in 3 years trying to trade Arraez away. He’s the baseball definition of “greener grass”. His on-field value is smoke and mirrors.

Now that this manufactured panic is over I hope you’re all ready to accept that Bregman is going to be the 3B.

  11. It’s funny that so many people want Arraez when Oswaldo was not only more valuable than him last season but got that value in around 40% of the plate appearances.

  12. Whew false alarm. I’ll pass on the singles merchant. Carry on with your day folks.
