New Orleans Saints 4-Round Mock Draft: Take Boise St. Ashton Jeanty In Round 1!

The New Orleans Saints have a lot of needs. But thanks to the depth at several positions in the 2025 NFL Draft, going for Boise State RB Ashton Jeanty should be considered a possibility. The Saints need game-breaking talent on offense and if Tetairoa McMillan isn’t available, Jeanty is the best playmaker in this year’s draft that could be a possible selection for New Orleans.

  1. I think some are put off by a first round running back cause we think it’s a “passing league” now. What most don’t realize is these quarterbacks are no where near as good of passers as Brees, PManning, or Brady. These guys struggle getting over 4000 passing yards even with the extra games

  2. Running back with the saints luck, he'll tear his acl in preseason. They need a pass rusher or run stuffer or an offensive lineman. Maybe move out of nine and pick up a 1st and 2nd rd pick. The Saints need plenty of help.

  3. Jeanty would be a great pick. Would allow the Saints to trade Kamara. But you could get RBs in the second round: Omarion Hampton, Kaleb Johnson, or Quinshon Judkins. Tre Harris is likely available in the second round as a WR

  4. I def agree with you boss man Ross been saying this for months Ak is getting older he would take the burden off of him as well but I had talk with one of my buddies I said when going up against the same offense what scares you as a dc and it’s the speed of sheed for sure I think jeanty would make a ton of since at 9 if he’s available especially if he’s the best player available running backs are back teams aren’t throwing for 300 yards that often

  5. I guess I’m the only person that thinks our biggest need is a solid line backer in the middle. Demario Davis is my guy but he’s seen his better days. And secondly it would be safety and or cornerback. If our O and D line can stay healthy with a few new vets it they can be good. But honestly as long as Carr is our QB it’s going be tough. It’s okay just not great. If I’m getting a RB I’d wait for the later rounds and get a guy like woody marks from USC down hill guy that can catch after the draft I’m sure his stock is going to go way up tho

  6. Bro this ninja had Olu Fashanu as the player he run up too the podium to draft…glad he wasn't select bc he is trash!! This dude Ross has no freaking clue what he talking about…a RB in 1st would set us back several additional year…why sign Ak and we know the NFL devalue Rb!!

  7. This roster is shot all over but if jeanty is on the board then definitely pull the trigger one he's definitely a game changer but on top of that he's part of my Haitian gene pool so I'll be completely comfortable with that pick

  8. last draft they actually got the guy I wanted in fuaga. most people had us getting fashanu. this year a lot of people are pointing towards the georgia edge. i'm thinking the ohio state cb. would not hate jeanty or the michigan interior DL.

  9. No, He'd just be another back that they would have to run 3 times as much, and he'd be injured by game 4. Alvin would have been fine this year if our offensive line stayed healthy and could have protected him. Look at how it all played out. Our O-line couldnt stay healthy then all of a sudden it was Kamara, Carr, Hill, our recievers. Thats what happens when you have to run your running back 10x more than you should, or your QB having to run because he has no protection, etc. We need O-line help first and foremost, then Defensive help. Playmakers can only make plays when their protected. PERIOD!

  10. I would take TE from Penn State at #9, then draft Laquen Allen from Syracuse in the 2nd Rd. I disagree with the drop off at RB behind Jenty. See..Ollie Gordan, Laquin Allen, Judson OSU, RB from BYU (STUD), Ole Miss RB (if he comes out). RBs are stacked in this year's draft.

  11. If you all keep playing with 9, I will take it from you! Seriously, I don't see Jeanty even going in rd 1. Especially after that bowl performance, but top 10? What a shock jock thing to say, but I'm not mad, it got people to click on the video.
