[Underhill] doesn’t anticipate Ben Johnson being the next coach

Not a surprise, really. I doubt any of us were assuming we were in for him. Still, Nick tweeting this makes it as ‘official’ as it’s going to get.
2025 Adam Gase comeback SZN

Not surprised, but the Lions kinda owe us for taking so much of our quality staff and players imo lol
With the certified loser Mickey Loomis at the helm, I totally expect Gruden, Nagy, or McCarthy. Remember, cap isn’t an issue and we’re just one head coach away from the Superbowl!
Well yeah why would he come here?
Ben Johnson is the new Josh Mcdaniels. When he does leave Detroit I don’t see it going well
I’m not opposed to Nagy. Ryan Pace ruined him. Nagy had Watson and Mahomes ahead of Trubisky.
I know some people aren’t hot on Aaron Glenn, but bro has done work with an extremely injured Detroit defense. I’m not super sold on a Defensive HC either but I wouldn’t mind giving bro a shot
Neither does anyone else living in reality lol
Well, fuck.
I mean….if we’re really gonna tank for Arch….let’s bring in David Cutliffe as some type of advisor. JK, I just want to avoid a Jerod Mayo situation as best as possible.
Yeah total pipe dream. Hopefully those early odds of Brady aren’t over exaggerated either. I personally feel like Glenn is the easy out
Subs needs to mentally prepare for someone like McCarthy or Pederson. We’re fully into “guide the sinking ship into harbor” territory.
Rex Ryan would be a fun way to kill time until our cap situation improves.
No Shit
People keep saying Ben Johnson but how good will he be as a head coach? Calling offensive plays and managing a team are wildly different things (sorry for the captain obvious post)
