  1. Lots of issues with this team. The main issue is Tomlin preaches "the standard is the standard" like they win superbowls every year. Stop walking around touting all this nonsense like you're sitting with the greatest coaches ever when you're just mediocre. The only reason why Tomlin has his superbowl win is because of the inheritance of Cowher's players.

Been a fan since 1985 and have seen bad years for the steelers. But this same old steelers crap every single year is getting tiresome. It's time to make some serious changes

  2. talk talk talk and more talk and WHY all the excuses have been said a THOUSAND TIMES before the pittsburgh organization has become A JOKE they are the #1 practice squad in the league and the foolish tomlin air group is simply wishing on something that WILL NEVER HAPPEN there will never be anything better than what there is so sit back and enjoy the #1 tabloid pretenders in the nfl tomlin and the present rooney have and are destroying it all. every thing THAT ART ROONEY SIR built all gone so get use to it IT ISN'T GOING TO CHANGE

  3. The Steelers just aren't good enough. It was even obvious when the team was 6-2 beating on average & bad teams. The talent is lacking. Coaching can always be better and Tomlin has his flaws, but letting him go will only lead to them replacing him with someone worse. Good coaches aren't easy to find. The answer at QB isn't on the roster. The RBs are as average as it gets. Freiermuth is the definition of average at TE. The WRs behind Pickens are underwhelming and Pickens himself is unreliable at times. The team just isn't good enough. No change in play calling would have made up for the fact that The Chiefs, Bills, and Ravens are clearly better teams and Pittsburgh was just pretending to be in the mix before the schedule got tough and showed where they truly stand, as an above average team with no actual playoff aspirations.

  4. Ive been one of Tomlins biggest supporters. But this is the last straw, he needs to go, nothing is gonna change, I respect the crap out of him but its time to go…

  5. Has not evolved. Even some of those great teams failed. The loss to Denver with Tim Tebow at qb was the dagger for me. Cant coach big games. Cant adjust. Doesn't get elite coaches to join team.

  6. Hopefully Tomlin’s job! 🤷🏻‍♂️. I’ll be shocked if this is even a close game. I’m a diehard Steelers fan and will watch but it doesn’t look good!

  7. This offense should have no limit to creating offense at all costs. Fields running or passing, russ actually trying, Patterson running, najee growing some b@lls and warren doing whatever needed. Steeler def we need you big time!! Go steelers 🤑

  8. Well coach Tomlin definitely made some bad decisions this year. Number one I think you should have left Justin Fields in his quarterback. Wilson is a has been he's proved it with other teams. The offense seemed to play a lot tougher with Justin Fields in and had more go than they did with Wilson.

  9. The whole Pittsburgh segment and i heard was “we love hearing him talk”, “we love how he says things”, “he wins alot of games”.

Not one time did one come out and say, “man did you see how well of a gameplanner tomlin is?” Or “ did you see tomlins schematic expertise on display?”

  11. Im a Steelers fan. I dont know if its a Tomlin problem or an organizaton as a whole problem, but they never build on anything. Thats my biggest complaint. They drafted Kenny Pickett and had no plan how to make him successful. Got rid of him 23 months after drafting him. Draft picks continuously regress after the 1st year. They may have legit ruined Broderick Jones' career by playing him out of position. Assistant coaches are cheap and are always hired in house, they rarely hire outside of the organization. To me that makes it seem as if Tomlin is hiring his buddies instead of qualified assistants. The DC and o line coach at the very least need to be fired after this season regardless of how they do in the playoffs. I could keep going but those are just a few of my issues. If these are Tomlin problems, then he needs to go. The mission of the team is not to see how they can grow Mike Tomlins legacy, it should be to win playoff games and SBs. Its not the Pittsburgh Mike Tomlins, its the Pittsburgh Steelers last time I checked.

  12. Kurt we've seen this offense not give russ enough opportunities… that 400+ game he had 38 attempts he needs volume…burrow threw the ball 46 times their last game

  13. Be nice if we could get one game Russ willing to throw to Calvin Austin on 3rd and 5.or scrambles for 6 first downs and throws the ball elite like Bengals game but it's on Arthur Smith to link up w Russ and have his eyes in the right place.we can't jus run the ball on first downs more on 2nd downs and 3rd downs and 1st downs jus mak quick open early passes
