Vlad is not irreplaceable. His focus is on money. Shatkins should load the team with two good power bats in replacement of him and Bo.

Just left a lengthy comment on Jays Digest. Only viable solution, is to Partner with MLSE, on the Baseball side & Make Keith Pelkey the new CEO of the Blue Jays. This is for the Long Term Financial Viability of the Franchise. Failing that; the Team will be Sold, or relocated, just like the Expos.
I've been at Jay's fan my whole life and I love Vladdy but he's not worth what he wants and you don't make building a winning roster more difficult for the next 10 years by over paying one player.
The two big contracts that have been signed in the offseason the last two years were such unicorn contracts that the public discourse somehow now think it's the new norm. I really don't think Vlad is going to get much more than $340 to $360 next year. I have a feeling 450 is a pipe dream for him. And if he has another dog shit season like he did in '22 and '23 he's not even going to get what the Jays are currently offering.
They need to get rid of this management team, this management team reminded me of the Harold Ballard years.
I am sorry but Vladdy is not worth $450 M as His asking price. He is not worth $340 M. He is too inconsistent and it is obvious he is more concerned about money and not the team. Management messed up and now to maximize they may have to trade him to get as much as possible. Management you screwed up and now you need to fix it. I don't think they can.

If he starts at a batting average at .200, making first base errors, base running errors and hitting into double plays like the start of 2024 the Jays won't get much
I feel bad for Jays fans. Cant catch a break. I think the taxes have alot to do with it.
If I have to see Vlad in a Jays uniform I will not watch them any more.
The guy is a big baby, not the brightest, base running errors, throwing errors, first base or DH not worth 450 million.
He is a second rate player, not a star, if you sign him for 450 million the damage will be unrepairable for years to come.
They should trade him they know they are not going to pay him enough money to keep him the only reason they want vlad this year is to get higher attendances to their boring games. Vlad and Bo should just come out and say in statements on their social media and to a reporter that the rogers organization ruined the team And also because of their contract offers We Bo and Vlad feel we are not wanted by the rogers organization and want to get traded
