  1. I think the Astros gave one last final offer to Bregman at 6 years around $160 million. In my opinion he's over playing his hand. He's not worth a $200 million dollar deal in my opinion. He should have signed with Houston which is also in a no state income tax state. It's obvious the Arenado market is not even luke warm. The Cardinals should trade Helsley first and actually get some prime prospects and follow that with Matz. Matz is on a one year deal and his salary isn't ridiculous. The Cards might have to eat a little money but I don't think much. The Cards should just wait to the deadline and see if someone is desperate for a 3B.

  2. They should have been doing other trades on people that contracts expire next year they are not going to extend them then look at who does not fit in our plans in two or three years and look to trade them if they have value the yankees want Donovan what value is there
