Who’s his Offensive Coordinator going to be?
If you’re hiring a Defensive minded HC, you better find one of the best OC’s around.
He is an excellent coordinator but probably one of the lowest on my list of preferences for the job.
What worries me a little is that Trent and Shad both clearly think that defense is our main problem.
I like Flores. 🤷♂️

We need a leader, he may a defensive genius but we need a change of culture and he will only make it worse.
If he was available for DC I’d be all over it but I don’t want him for HC.

I feel like if there was a place for him to improve on the parts of his coaching that scare me it would be under Kevin O’Connell in Mn but I would be pretty worried nonetheless.
As someone that roots for the jags and dolphins that’s a resounding no for me

A guy that went 10-6 and 9-8 when the dolphins had absolutely nobody should absolutely be considered. Safer pick than any coordinator
Him having a bad relationship with one qb shouldn’t disqualify him from a head coaching position
Also when one guy cries to the media and the other guy says “this is a private situation between men”, generally gonna side with the second
Mike Vrabel minus the HC success, no thanks
I’ve been watching and listening to everything Flo since I follow the Vikings and it genuinely feels like he has learned from KOC and Tomlin. I would be okay with this and it may mean he can poach the likes of Keenan McCardell

There’s a lot of negativity around this request in this thread but I honestly wouldn’t hate it. He’s proven that he’s an amazing defensive mind (what he’s doing In Minnesota with that defensive roster is extremely impressive imo). I also don’t think he would be as bad of a leader as people are making it seem. His defense always fights for him and he’s openly said he regrets how he handled the Tua situation. I think he would be more level-headed the 2nd time around. He’s not in my top 3 Candidates but I certainly wouldn’t be upset about it. The main question with Flores is “who tf is the OC?”

This to me means. That Baalkes first wish for a replacement have rejected his overtures. This isn’t good news
I don’t get the hate on this guy, made a bad team good quickly with the groceries that were there largely, and did the right thing by trying to win every game even when his owner tried to bribe him to tank. I’d still rather have Ben but Flores is a solid coach imo, but please let me know if I’m forgetting some bad attributed or missed some news. Also Rooney rule.
