NFL Rumors: Ben Johnson ‘Intrigued by’ Jags HC Job; May Not Want GM Trent Baalke

Well the rumors were that Baalke was going to be gone with Doug, but that wasn’t reality.
I’ll save my reaction for when we actually hire someone. It won’t be too hard to tell whether or not we had to settle for someone because of Baalke.
I feel like the words ‘may not want Baalke’ apply to nearly everyone capable of critical thought.
Can’t Shad just hide baalke as his personal football buddy if he likes him so much? Like bruh, you are one of the most wealthy men in the states, you can create some irrelevant BS position for your friend, just keep him away from the team!

Please Ben do the interview tell Shad you don’t want Baalke so that this clown finally dumps this loser of a GM.
I just want viable candidates to voice what we all been saying so that maybe he finally does something.
All the toxic politics aside, Baalke’s body of work just isn’t impressive. Sure we could end up with a worse GM but do we really wanna settle for average at best? Swing for fences and bring in another GM, hell with BJ poach from the lions.

I think he’ll be intrigued by all the HC openings. Theres only 32 of these jobs in the world
If Ben ends up getting Baalke replaced it doesn’t even matter how he does as HC I will always look at him highly
I cant even imagine what it would be like to really hit on a head coach and drop a few double digit win seasons in a row.
Honestly, after hearing both Boselli and Fred’s inputs I’m pretty high on Aaron Glenn and would be ecstatic if he was hired.
So then get rid of him. Just give him some meaningless title somewhere far away from the team and its operations.

Really hoping I can say “I told you so” to all the naysayers on my post about Khan booting Baalke if a coach wants him gone
Ben has been very vocal in stating he wants an organization that can own up to the mistakes of the past… this doesn’t bode well if Baalke is gonna be part of the hiring. He’s openly said multiple times he doesn’t second guess any decision he’s ever made and he doesn’t have any regrets.
I am also intrigued by the jaguars and don’t like Baalke

if shad doesn’t renew blaake’s contract. Then he would only have to deal with him for one season right? right..?

I have a suggestion for Mr. Kahn… Baalke should be the new director for Jaguars personnel for the London games. That position, would be based in London full time.

I hope Johnson can talk to Khan and get him to get rid of Baalke. That’s our only chance for success
Just make Balke the team contract negotiator. I feel like a lot of his contracts were decently te friendly. Like don’t let him choose who we sign just how much we spend.

As long as Trent is GM, we aren’t going to see any of the top candidates come to Jax!!! Still have no clue why he hasn’t been fired yet as well. And Press is Still OC??? Honestly he should have been fired mid season, worst OC in the entire league imo, prob needs to go to High school or sumtin with how he calls plays
