As a side note, Brewers now have 2 of their 3 biggest arbitration players signed. Only Contreras is left of the guys that will get $3+ million.
EDIT: Contreras and Mears are the only 2 guys overall left to sign.
8 mil for civale just feels hilarious ngl. Get that’s what he was expected to receive but still.
8M seems like a lot for him on first glance but then you realize the value a 1 WAR is probably in the 5-6M range and suddenly it looks fair or team-friendly for a year.
