what a game! SO from Sorokin! after that PP goal that got turned back. Isles just put their dominance into effect.

I don’t know if they showed it on MSG or anyone noticed it but Zeeker grabbed the game puck for Sorokin and he flipped it to fan.
They lose to the Blackhawks and Sabres, GM calls them contenders, and then they shut out 1st ranked team on home ice.
Team makes no sense. I’m tired of trying to rationalize them.

This was honestly what I expected the islanders to look like coming into the season before the horrific shooting luck and injuries. Glad to see there’s still some spark.

I was there and it was amazing!!!
I was watching the Vegas post game show on ESPN + and rather than making excuses for their team or saying they just had bad luck etc. the Vegas announcers were saying the Islanders were “strong defensively and obviously better than their record suggests.” Nice.
