I think this will eventually get done by increasing the money in the signing bonus and year 1/2 salary if it ends up around 100 million for the 3 years but 80ish is in the bonus/year 1+2 they can get over the hump without increasing the AAV for Pete by too much while giving him a good cushion to find another deal

Teams were waiting until the draft happened to sign these players previously. Now he’s getting them big 1-year guarantees so that they can either go back to free agency without the QO the next winter, or they can sign an extension.
Either way, his clients are getting their big paydays over multiple years, despite having a QO penalty attached to signing them.
There is a reason why the top players use him as an agent. He’s getting them big paydays.
