Vladimir Guerrero is the best bad ball hitter of all time. Who else has gotten a hit off of a ball that bounced in front of the plate?

I am so thankful that I got to be an Angels fan during Big Daddy Vladdy’s tenure. He is the King of Shit Pitches. He should have put a shovelhead on the end of his bat.

Vlad is certainly the best. I did see Albert Pujols hit a few that were insane that he connected with. Vlad is by far the best.
I never watched Roberto Clemente. He would have to be pretty amazing to be better than Vlad in this category.

I’ve heard stories that Yogi Berra was an amazing bad ball hitter as well. The stats didn’t lie; in his 15 All-Star seasons, he struck out more than walked only once, had the same amount of strikeouts to walks one time, and never struck out more than 38 times in a season.
I get that hitters were waaaaay different back then, but we’ll never see stats like that again.
