I’ve loved this *somewhat new* line combo!
1) It’s really rejuvenated Schenn’s offensive production
2) Kyrou and Holloway’s speed really compliment one another
It’s kinda funny that the no.1 OA doesn’t and can’t exist anymore.
Nice to see Schenn find a groove again. Holloway has an understated ability to bring out the best in his linemates.
That line has impressed me the most over the last week. Holloway had a great talent to hold on to and chase down pucks while Schenner is forechecking and playing the body. If those two can keep the puck they usually dish it to the point or Kyrou to circle the zone and it just creates chaos and scoring opportunities. Excited to seem them continue to produce!
So nice to see the progress, Monty is the MAN! So lucky to have him:-) Somewhere there a “Things are going up” musical meme which I can’t find, Hah
I’ve been saying for the last year, if you watch schenn play he seems to be playing the right way. You can argue his production is down. But it would be similar to last year saying Binner sucks when clearly he was playing well. I’m so happy that Hollywood is here. It seems like kyrou who had been getting better finally has the right people next to him to let him cook. Holloway is kind of a no nonsense guy like schenn and they both drive the net after the pass and kyrou goes to work.
This is the fist time in 3 years I’m genuinely loving kyrous game, and I hope they keep seeing more minutes. You can see them getting the offensive mismatch times over the 1st line the last few games. I think it was 3 games ago schenn was taking the ozone faceoff when we needed a goal over Thomas. That’s saying something
Holloway for a third might go down as one of the best transactions in blues history. Buch for a second and ROR for a Tage and a bunch of garbage also up there.
