Ben Johnson has always had his eyes on the beers job. Why do you think he turned down five jobs last year. All you Gotta do is go back and listen to his press conference about the way he talks about Caleb Williams, and some of the throws that he can make. That little stumble play that he called at soldier Field a few weeks ago. That was an audition for the beers job in front of their ownership. Why would he even waste to play like that on the Bears? He didn’t need that play to win the game. He was showing off!

I’m glad Greg brought it up towards the end about Jared Goff. I wish people would stop saying Goff was “fixed” by Ben Johnson. He threw for 4600+ yards twice and had two other good seasons before even going to Detroit. People talk like he was Sam darnold. He was always good and he grew as a player as he got older like we’re seeing with so many other QB’s. I wouldn’t give Johnson too much credit for Goffs play.

Ben Johnson isnt coming to a team who has a GM that clearly cant build an oline. The man is terrible at evaluating OL talent. The man spent a 3rd rd pick on a LT from Yale with a torn quad. He also thinks its okay to have a 5th rd pick who cant anchor protecting our franchise qb's blind side.
I miss Nagy's DUB CLUB… anyway, until they remove everyone from the owner down it doesn't matter who we get ..it will be a failure and a career killer for Ben Johnson if he comes to us
