Yes, Justin Fields would be an interesting pickup.

Would be an improvement at this current time, but I cannot see this happening, especially after last night
I’m here for this. If they make a move it has to be a mobile QB.
They can’t have two different offensive systems.
Daniel Jones would actually be my pick for FA.
I don’t think Fields gives us enough competition.
But I like the idea of crazy trick plays with them both in the game.
Throw the patriots a 5th round pick with the option to become a 4th for Milton. Same type of player and he’s hungry to start. I think he would push Richardson harder than fields would.
Fields reminds me of Geno Smith situation. Just needed a good situation to grow into the position.
I actually like Fields. Kids had a shitty hand. Bears are garbage, he was playing great in Pittsburgh and then they were like nah we want Wilson. Tf? Lmao
Run the pro set with Taylor and fields any three could run either could throw…
If we had Justin Fields instead of Anthony Richardson, I have no more faith in more than a 7/8/9 win season than I did before.
Here comes the cult of Fields
No way
Fuck it, let’s bring back the single wing
Nah.
We need a QB who can pass.
Get us Joe Milton or Tanner McKee.
Tired of chasing this whole.”Dual threat QB” thing.
Sure, scrambling matters but get a QB who can pass.
Milton is my 1st choice because of the upside( also completed 65% of his passes in college) great size, great arm, mobile.
McKee is my 2nd choice.Great size, Great arm, Not as mobile as Milton but probably a more accurate passer.
Do. not. Bring . Another. Running. QB.
Please.
No. He wouldn’t be interesting. We know exactly what player Justin is.
I think it makes more sense to get a traditional passer as the backup for two reasons.
First, not saying it’s what we want AR to be, but there ARE skills that he would benefit learning from a traditional passer.
Second, Steichen has demonstrated twice now he can flip a gameplan for either play style.
If only we could have gotten him cheap for next to nothing last year …. O well.
Yep, posts like these are gonna be the norm for some time now, can’t wait
Great for a tanking season
Would depressing. Two loser QBs. I don’t understand fan infatuation with QBs that can’t QB.
No way Fields leaves Pitt. Russ is almost out to pasture and they have a better built team… and coach
So we’d have a shitty starter and a dog water backup?
Athleticism does not equal skill. I rather have someone with skill
I hope neither of them are the starting QB next year
Colts fan living in Chicago here. We absolutely do not want Fields. I’ve lived through his disappointment once. Never again.
If you want to bring a guy to compete with AR, but one that AR would win he’s the guy to do so
NO. Screw this. Justin Fields sucks.
Love these threads lol. I don’t understand why people are so averse to low risk, high potential reward moves. Just so y’all know other fanbases rolled their eyes at Geno Smith, Baker and Darnold signings, but those ended up working out pretty decently for their franchises.
Just because it didn’t work out with Wentz, who we had to give up draft capital for, doesn’t mean it’ll never work for any mid-career journeyman QB
