How do people know this? Like who tf is even this guy
Such a stupid way to run things. If he’s not good enough for “the right coach” then it’s pretty clear he’s NOT GOOD ENOUGH – regardless, and the team should move on from him now!!
Khan with anything to do with football has to be the dumbest owner in the league
This is all bullshit.
It’s taking that one mealy mouthed Shad answer in a way it wasn’t intended.
This is just so stupid
If Khan is willing to move on from the GM because a HC doesn’t want him, he clearly doesn’t think Baalke is that valuable.
So why not just fire him anyway?
I highly doubt Trent is going anywhere.
Trent is too good at this for Shad to leave him.

Notice teams are making hires and we are still discussing the same bullshit opinion pieces from a week ago…
Nah fuck Allbright

“Have made it pretty clear”
Or…Shad just gave some bullshit answer to a question to make fans happy so they stop asking.
Any head coach would have to answer Baalke, unless they answer to Khan instead, or if they go to Khan and say they don’t like Baalke, only in secret of course. Basically it’s a race to Khan’s desk between Baalke and the future head coach to see who can get the other fired first.
I suppose these rumors are useful for passing the time until we get actual news.
“Trent should we hire Ben?”
“Do I lose my job if we do?”
“Yes”
“I don’t think he’s a good fit”
The Jaguars have made it pretty clear that… *they are a garbage franchise with an apathetic owner that couldn’t pass a football literacy test to save his life.
Fixed it for ya.
It makes sense. I’m assuming there’s a job that needs to be completed, even in the off-season. Why bring in an interim that might not be made full-time should a coach want to go another way?
I kinda like the idea of Baalke maybe being a dead man walking, never knowing 100% if this is the interview that sends him out the door. We’ve had hopes of great seasons and look where we are, he shouldn’t be able to get comfortable either…
More Allbright cope
All of the rumours around Baalke are hilarious and make no sense to me. I’m going to continue to believe that Baalke will be the GM of this team for next season and beyond, he’s here until he isn’t.
Baalke: “Yeah, Ben Johnson was impressive. So were Aaron Glenn, Liam Coen, Kellen Moore, Robert Saleh, all those guys. But you know who was most impressive? Bill O’Brien. I really think he’s your guy, Shad, regardless of who he wants running personnel.”
Albright is a real dumbass. Google his name and affair and have a laugh…..
Chat GPT offers this evaluation:
The logic can be expressed as follows:
1.
(The GM is fired if the HC is valued highly enough by the owner to warrant selecting a new GM.)
2.
(The value of the HC to the owner depends on the evaluation provided by the GM.)
3.
(The evaluation by the GM can influence the owner’s decision to fire the GM.)
This creates a feedback loop:
The decision to fire the GM depends on the value of the HC, which is in turn determined by the evaluation from the GM, leading back to the decision to fire the GM. This circular dependency makes the logic inherently self-referential.
This can’t be true. This would confirm the absolute incompetence of Khan. How is it that an outside CANDIDATE is the only way you remove your failure of a GM. Khan can’t see the severe lack of talent on the o line? Interior D line? How many head coaches does Baalke get to select? Bottom of the league owner. Unreal.
It’s the year 2025 of our lord and savior and we’re all still hanging on the words of Walterfootball and Benjamin Allbright. God save us.
Lol. We’ve already been through this after urban was fired. Baalke isn’t going anywhere this year and probably not next year either.
1) no candidate is going to demand he gets fired in an interview where’s he’s in the room and probably driving the conversation
2) even if BJ decided to make it his singular mission to come to the Jags and get baalke fired as a condition, it likely wouldn’t work. Shad made it pretty clear in his press conference that he isn’t actually open to it. Bj could give him the name of a replacement GM and khan would ask why he hadn’t provided a full list of candidates to replace every nutrionists, security guards, and social media interns
This guy is a unreliable clown but Dilla did co-sign this. Pauline said it as well. Breer said there could be a change in structure. Lots of stuff out there.
Makes sense to me. Khan doesn’t want to go through the process of interviewing a coach and a GM so just hire a coach and then let him pick the GM. Lazy way to run your business though
I agree but Allbright has no sources, maybe anywhere tbh
If you go the the Raiders sub and Bears sub its all the same crap. Everyone wants this guy. Except the Jets or Saints. Nobody wants either of those jobs.
