Small sample and volume (only 2.3 3PA per game), but good to see Cason getting back on track with his shooting while simultaneously looking much more confident off the dribble this year. Been an underrated playmaker and slasher this year.

  1. His down period in shooting was guaranteed to correct itself long term.

Now I just want Caruso to be back to his old shooting once he’s back. Idk how a premier 3 and D player was that bad to start. If he starts shooting high 30’s percentage wise I think that makes it all
The harder to beat OKC in a series

  2. This is actually *huge*.

He was really struggling, even botching easy layups and clearly lacking some confidence.

We need him to be a consistent offensive threat if he’s going to be playing as much as he does.

Hope that he can continue this moving forward. (Not expecting 48% but 38%+ would be great).

  3. I feel like he’s been getting in the paint more and finishing, especially with that little floater he likes to do. That’s good for his development.
