Indianapolis Colts- Anthony Richardson drowning? Ballard may drown in self-doubt! Pacers upset Cavs

Anthony Richardson was said to be drowning by Chris Ballard last week, but it might be that Ballard is actually the one who is drowning!
Pacers got the win last night in Cleveland to end the Cavs 12-game winning streak.
Hoosiers need to get a win tomorrow night against Illinois!

  1. I wanted to tell you Kent that I really enjoyed the show yesterday with your son. Even though Ryan's thoughts on the team confirm a lot of my suspicions, his perspective somehow soothes my raw nerves related to this IU basketball debacle.

  2. Guy played 20 some games before the NFL. These superbowl potential quarterbacks like JaydenDaniel's, Bo Nix. You can see either of them winning a superbowl in the next ten years. Does anyone think in the next 10 years richardson can be the guy and lead the colts. Hell no, you're going to see another rookie qb next year make the playoffs and the colts will be 7-10 because not the majority of the fans, the majority of big shots on the colts who's careers are married to this guys success. Hard to put your faith in someone with a back issue and a work ethic issue. If you're making millions of dollars and to keep making millions you gotta sell this guy to the fans, not working.

  3. Kent, So much of your analysis of Colts management demonstrates the depth of your understanding of how to manage a business and consequently points out that Ballard entering 9th year is evidence of owner malfeasance

  4. Can Richardson make a massive improvement to get up to completing 60% of attempts? WTH? How pathetic is a team that needs to pray their QB can "massively improve" to having the LOWEST conp % in the NFL? On year 3 of this failed experiment and too many losers respond with "let's waste another seadon to see if we can magically turn a turd into a diamond". No wonder the gap in playoff wins are measured by decades in Indy.

  5. Will Levis already got his GM fired. AR5 has one year to jump from being the statistically worst QB in the NFL to being middle-of-the-pack-plus to keep Ballard from the same fate.

  6. The fans and media knew running the team back wasn't the right thing. Ballard chose to ignore that and so he should of paid the ultimate price by losing his job. Not sure what Irsay was thinking. If this team is a failure again this upcoming year the fan base will absolutely lose it beyond repair.

  7. WHERE THE HELL IS POLIAN IF I SPELLED HIS NAME RIGHT THEY NEED TO BRING HIM BACK EVEN THOUGH HE'S OLDER BUT HE PUT TOGETHER Peyton MANNING Marvin Harrison a Dallas Clark Reggie Wayne James NOW THAT'S HOW YOU PUT A TEAM TOGETHER NOT LIKE WHAT BALLARD LOSER

  8. The NFL draft is a crap shoot, and we all knew AR was high risk-high reward.
Unfortunately, the clock is ticking. He's actually going to prove a pretty good quarterback for some other team in 2027, I reckon.

  9. Is it time for Colts Nation to rise up and demand, DEMAND a change? Do we need to march down Main Street, USA to get Jim Irsay's attention??? It's his team, but it's our ticket money!!! What say you Colts fans???

  10. I realized AR isn't the problem. It's our organizations failure to develop him. If he goes to another team I bet he kicks our ass*s for the next decade.

  11. Here is the LEVEL of stupidity on this channel @carrite a vocal enthusiast on here. Actually posted that Lamar Jackson sucked in his second year. …..Lamar won the league MVP his second year,…….hahahahahahahahahaha now that you know how dumb people are here do not take any comments except mine seriously

  12. It's not personal with Ryan Grigson because I don't personally know him but his treatment of a franchise that Indianapolis needed was so God awful that he should of went to jail for it

  13. Excellent commentary. Even though I don't always agree with you, you are knowledgeable and free of the protection of access that hinders other local media, prone to the PC side. You offered today an interesting angle on things and you are the only journalist I know who comments on position coaches, who are responsible of fundamentals. Coordinators and the HC are somewhat evaluated by everybody, but they fail to take a look at the ones teaching the basics. Keep up the good job.

  14. I get that hindsight is 20/20, but the Colts definitely should have found a starter at QB better than Minshew for 2-3 years (ex Derek Carr). If Colts management thought the team was close… start Carr and sit AR! (Rhymed😂) AR gets to learn to be a PROFESSIONAL. Gets to learn thru preseason and play him heavy which would be 6-9 games over 2-3 seasons. Maybe a few starts due to injury from the starter. Then by year 3 or 4, AR earns the starting position. Sometimes you gotta overkill the QB position, it's too important to miss

  15. I was watching film of AR for hours, and the one thing I witnessed, as a result, is that AR is a superstar covered in the anxiety of a young QB. After the win against the steelers, Lamar Jackson mentioned that he finally felt calm and composed, he also mentioned that his success came from the knowledge that little plays add up. AR will learn, as Lamar learned through experience.
