New minority owner Tom Brady’s voice is carrying a lot of weight with Mark Davis in the Raiders’search for a new coach and general manager.

  1. this is exactly what mark has been looking for…for better or for worse. hopefully it works out

  2. The cowboys head coaching spot opening up isn’t ideal for our Ben Johnson sweepstakes. Really hope we’re able to reel him in. It would be our best hire since the first time Gruden was hired.

  3. Brady and John Spytek have history. He’s been getting a lot of buzz, but definitely someone to keep your eye on.

Spytek has been with the Buccaneers for nine seasons and two of those seasons as the Assistant General Manager.

  4. I know raiders fans are desperate but let’s just chill out. This guy was involved in zero personnel decisions as a player when he won 6 superbowls. Maybe he brought in ab to the bucs for this 7th? Personally he made commercials for ftx and then used ppe loans during covid. Also his wife cheated on him

We don’t forget the tuck rule and until the raiders have a winning season, I stay hating.

  5. I hope he does better than Gretzky and Jordan when it comes to this. Being the goat doesn’t carry a lot of weight historically given the track record. But can’t be any worse than what we’ve been doing so fuck it I’m on board

  6. I mean, yeah. Hell yeah. It’s been a shitshow for years, so I’m glad there is change afoot. Literally cannot be worse than it’s been so why the hell not.

Also pretty interesting Vinny is writing this piece. I know it’s all info that’s been reported and is obvious – but he’s a mouthpiece.

  7. I don’t love this given the history of the franchise. But Davis making decisions is ~ slime mold being in charge, we know what we’re getting. So given the options lfg,

  8. I’m gonna stay cautiously optimistic about this. I do hope this works out better for all parties.

  9. Brady needs to quit broadcasting and just be the GM with whatever coach comes in

  10. Was Tom involved with NE’s decisions? I don’t understand how being a good quarterback equates to being a good football operations decision maker guy.
