The Packers Season is Over: Lose to Eagles 22-10

The Packers fell to the Eagles in their Wild Card matchup after a disappointing outing from their offense. As we head into the offseason, it’s time to break down the game and look at what is next for Green Bay.

  1. the last couple years it feels like green bay can be that super bowl team but we are always in the gear right below the better teams we just have to shift up and we can be that team i dont know what is missing to get that last leg up but i think we have a great team its just not firing on all cylinders granted having people stay healthy helps and maybe some pash rush pressure would be good but i still think this WRs group can do there thing just stay healthy and for the love of god CATCH THE DAMN BALL!!!!! and we will be on top again.

  2. I mean saquon surrendered and gave up about a 60-yard gain plus a touchdown at the end of the game…. he was taking it home if he had not mercy ruled yall. … so while it wasnt a blowout… it wasnt that close either… and our play calling was so bad the commentators actually pondered if Siriani was calling plays again… designed runs on 3rd and 16+ multiple times.

  3. It was a great defensive effort, lot of bad calls or non calls on both sides… the injuries were the tilt, once your O-line went down it was a wrap for Love. Great job this season!!-Decent Eagles Fan

  4. Good video tom, videos like this show why you do so well on this platform. A level headed take. The reason we got bounced from the playoffs is because we lost to the bears. on a different day we could definitely of beaten this eagles team

  5. Eagles fan here, Jordan Love may have had a bad game but he is still developing. Looks like he and this young team are going to be a problem in the league in the next coming years.

  6. I’ve been a Packers fan for almost 35 years. The people that are clamoring Love as a bust or LaFleur as a bad coach are out of their frigging minds.

If people were complaining about Love’s interceptions, I implore them to go take a look at Brett Favre’s 2005 stat line.

If they think Matt LaFleur is a bad coach, well…he has only one losing season in his six year career and it was an 8-9 record…so BARELY a losing season. Mike McCarthy had three in his 13 years in GB.

Tom, you and I should consider ourselves the lucky ones too…we weren’t alive (or too young to remember) the Packers of the 70s and 80s. I think fans from that era would GLADLY take an 11-6 season and a playoff appearance. Hell, a lot of those teams struggled to even get to 6-10. I remember my parents telling me about those teams as if they were recalling ‘nam flashbacks.

I think it is WAY too early to be calling Love a bust. I think really the Packers are in really good shape. They really only have a few holes to fill on their roster. As you said Tom, another receiver, another edge rusher and another corner and I think they are in pretty good shape.

As someone who works in college athletics, a lot of us have this unwritten rule, which is the 3-year rule. Basically, it’s a principle where you give a new coach three years to see where they have a program because within the third year, you’re seeing primarily the new coaches’ recruits competing as well as the tactics that the coach is implementing with those recruits. I’m not willing to give a full grade to Love until he’s done with year three. If the morons that are calling him a bust were NFL executives, well, Sam Darnold never would have gotten the opportunity to be the Vikings QB, Josh Allen would have been cut by the Bills and Jared Goff would be out of the NFL.

They say patience is a virtue. These delusional Packer fans making these silly claims need to be more patient. This is a very young team that’s just missing a few key pieces.

  7. As a Lions fan, it was disappointing to see the Packers lose to the Eagles. It would have been nice for the NFC North to have the Lions, Purple Incarnation of Satan and the Packers to finish 1, 2 and 3 (respectively) in the NFC. We can expect the 2025-26 NFC North to remain the strongest division in the NFL.

  8. Us Eagles fans were not happy about our offensive performance, but that was also due to how well the Packers D played yesterday. I’m glad our defense played really well also, but it sucks to see so many injuries as a result, on either side of the ball. You guys are going to be a playoff threat for years, yet again, so you’ll have many more chances to come out on top. I was a secret Farve fan as a kid in the 90s, so I have a soft spot for the Packers.

Hopefully this is our year with this team, I’ve seen Philly teams in every sport come up an inch short my whole life, it’s part of why we get so mad and passionate we are always worried that if we don’t dominate we will screw it up. But as always it’s still Go Birds 🦅 Fly Eagles Fly!

  9. Hey Tom eagles fan here and I’ve been watching your channel for a while now and I just wanna say I’m sorry that the packers lost I really wish eagles didn’t face them first but I’m sorry that we had to eliminate you but I hope you get to a million subs best of luck!

  10. I wonder about the whole Jaire Alexander debacle going on with him and the media today. Where he hinted at him maybe not being with the Packers next year when he was talking to the media during locker clean out. Kind of scary if the Packers trade him for their secondary. I get that their secondary was pretty decent during the time Jaire was out, but I think you can't lose such a talented and a terrific player like that for your defense when he is healthy. Plus he has a dead cap of about 18 million dollars if cut or traded before June 1st so they won't do anything at least before June 1st if they do decide to do one of those things.

  11. Hey… He was sacked 16 times less. 🤷🏻‍♂️… That's a win. Idk if that's credit to the OL or Loves awareness in the pocket, (probably both)… But, I'll take that win
They need to get him a legit WR1.

  12. The most concerning thing to me as an outside observer (Eagles fan lmao) was that Jordan Love looked straight up bad. To a certain degree it’s understandable since the Eagles have arguably the best defense in the NFL and the Packers lost what I’m pretty sure were about 5 offensive linemen to injuries, but he just looked lost out there for most of the game

  13. 13:03 I agree 100%. The team has issues, but to be all doom and gloom because of it is a little harsh. We have lots of strengths, and we should be more hopeful than pessimistic about it.

  14. Next season will be the most important season of his entire football career. Im not tanking on him but he absolutely has to adapt to the league adjusting to him. Also, MLF should no doubt be on the hot seat. Most of the issues are a reflection of him. The offense looks flat. Where's the motion and playaction there was with Rodgers, who didnt want all that to begin with? Lol. I didnt expect to win but when we finally have the defense to compete your offense cant flatline like that. Unacceptable. WR, DE, CB. Absolute needs going into next season. Tired of the same press conference every January.

  15. Love your video's Tom, your really fun to listen to even though I am not a packers fan. I think what I want to say is that the people calling for J Loves head right now do need to calm down just a bit I don't think it is time yet to worry as you and others have said they are young still and they are learning. However, year three of this if the packers perform like they have this year and let's say they make it back to the playoffs but they get bounced again than yes I think at that point you need to have conversations and start looking at Jordan and MLF because it will have been three years of it and if they cannot produce you wonder than what is going to happen if they just keep getting knocked out, I think like some people have said MLF needs a dedicated OC him doing it is clearly not working and the longer one waits the worse it will get I feel, and Love he needs to stop with the turnovers in the post season he reminds me of Kershaw from the dodgers, amazing in the regular seasons but the post season he disappears or was more of a hindrance which is how I felt about Love he is great in the regular season but has played a major roll in why the packers have lost in the playoffs the last two years, hopefully they can fix those in the next season but if it happens again I think it would be fair to start having talks about the decisions made.

  16. I don't think Jordan ever recovered from his groin injury against the Jags. He had numerous situations during the season where he had open space to gain several yards but would instead fire off a bad pass right before the line to a very covered receiver. The play Sunday where Doubs was injured was the same situation. Besides missing an open Tucker Kraft, he had space in front of him to rattle off several yards minimum. Even the one play he did run he did not seem to want to dive for the 1st down.
