  1. First off Russ played very well for the offensive line he was playing behind. Russ isn't and wasn't the problem. So glad we got Pat locked up here for the next couple years.

  2. Russ played well considering he had a bottom 5 run game and WR room and a defense that gives up 300 rushing yards in one game. Russ had 20 tds 5 picks 65% completion rate and a 96 qb rating. You guys didn’t lose cuz of him this year.

  3. The Steelers won the coin toss and elected to receive the ball first. Fittingly for an offense that's lost four straight games, the first offensive snap for the Steelers was a drop by tight endĀ Pat Freiermuth and that first drop felt like the last 4 weeks

  4. Its interesting to me as a steelers fan how everybody is ripping this team apart. Yes, we ended on a terrible note, we looked lethargic, and slow. The ravens for one of the first times in my life ran a train over us; over and over again.
The defense looked like they gave up and did not play up to THE STANDARD. With that being said, our offensive line struggles are nothing new, and all success starts up front. We should not fire or move on from Mike Tomlin that would only make things worse. All year I thought this team needed another year with the same group of guys to really make a push. Everybody ripping this team apart needs to really rethink that, rebuilding takes time its BS to see everybody hating on this team. Things will get better.

  5. I think Russ did a hell of a job. Could he of been better at times yes. On offense the Steelers did more with less all season. Not an excuse but context matters. The playcalling all season has been less than desirable. Its like Art Smith only gets aggressive when they are losing, Cincinatti being the only exception. Why are we running on every first down like this is the 1980s? Also, we need a true WR2 Tee Higgins so we have weapons. Austin does hustle but his size does him no favors and in my opinion he is a WR3. Jefferson – bye, Darnell Washington- bye, Patterson -bye. We also need another RB to go with Warren. George Pickens is good WR1 but needs to grow mentally. Tomlin tries to be diplomatic but let's face it the O-Line was pushed around all season which impacted the running and passing game. Freiermuth was clutch all season and I think he has the potential to Travis Kelce-Tony Gonzalez great! On the defense, Honestly, everyone knows that Joey Porter, Elliott, Cam Heyward, and most of TJ Watt were NOT 100% but still played and no one wants to hear it, but being healthy at the right time about is just as important. Playing 3 games in 10 days against the 3 best teams was stupid. Its a reason players normally only play once a week. It was just done for ratings. Yes some other teams played but the strength of opponents did not compare to what the Steelers face. Lastly, we definitely need another CB and to trade Minkah.

  6. I love Pat man šŸ’™ he’s been a Steelers before he was drafted and hopefully we can keep him here. But he’s one of guys deserves a chip if not a playoff win man

  7. This team will win a chip when it’s ready and mike T will be the coach . This is the chiefs year . We need to hit on our draft picks I love Jones but 1st round 13th overall or whatever he went does not look incredible

  8. Russell Wilson is a good QB right now! The passes outside a few were very accurate passes. The ball is passed right to receivers hands. Put talented wide receivers on the field for him to throw to. Stop coming out in games with that super conservative playcalling. As soon as Russell hit 400 yard game all of a sudden playcalling got conservative.

  9. Yea let’s bring back a 36 year old qb who turns 37 next year who only throws moon balls and check downs you fans make me sick with your delusions šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

  10. I don't have a problem with the type of person or player that Russell Wilson is, he's obviously a good leader in the locker room but unfortunately he didn't get us any farther then we were last year, and he lost every single game that really mattered, and he is being blamed because he made poor decisions in the most crucial points in the game, a quarterback cannot be making poor decisions in crucial points of the game and he's 36 years old. Everyone in Denver was trying to say that oh it's not Russ it's Sean Payton and it's their scheme that doesn't work well with him , well now we know for sure that it is him ,and him alone, because now he's played poorly with 2 different teams… we can get a QB who's 10 years younger and play mediocre, he was chosen to get us through those playoff games, we all talked about how that three-game stretch was his test he didn't just lose those three games he lost 5!!… a 13-year veteran Super Bowl winner, he's been to 2 Super Bowls he's been to the playoffs many times , he's not the player he used to be, we're not and I'm not, afraid to say that about him just like Aaron Rodgers.. he's no longer consistent, he got all the players he wanted on that team, he built the team that he wanted to succeed and what was their record? We all gave him a chance here in Pittsburgh , we all accepted him and gave him a fair chance, we wanted him to b THE GUY but I'm sorry ,no matter who the QB is.. being at the helm, he's the one making the decisions to throw the ball, he's the one making the decisions to run the ball , he's the one making all of those decisions, he's nowhere close to the QB's that are doing very well. He's nowhere near Lamar jackson, Josh allen, Joe burrow, Jalen hurts, etc. he's nowhere close to any of those QB's and he needs to be in order to compete in not just this league but this division, so ,sorry… Russ is a really likeable guy but he's not performing like we need him to..he's NOT the answer

  11. 1st line of duty get rid of Russell ā€œbubby Bristerā€Wilson got to go..Steelers need a created madden character Russell’s moon ball and Justin fields legs… that’s the answer!!

  12. We have to spend money on offense and draft well a legit number 2 receiver bring back Mike Williams find a better offense and defense coordinator stack up in the trenches

  13. Everyone is in this weird uproar lol they don't know football. Russ and Just kept us cooking all year and we over achieved for the season which most thought would be Tomlins 1st loosing season. Give Russ some weapons and lets get some better coached schemes and we win. We could have won any game we played in, and that was obvious.

  14. Russ had an excellent season and he made this year an exciting season. We haven’t had exciting offense, as limited a time as it was thanks to Arthur smith, since Ben quarterbacked three years before retirement

  15. As a Ravens fan, This guy (Wilson) is NOT the QB y’all need. Im 44 yrs old, and I remember yall being a very threatening team to all the NFL for a long time, your issue is also the O-Line, and defense.

Your defense interior and LB’s are not up to par either.

Plus your OC, and DC needs changing. Our RB (D.Henry) should not be able to run on yall 13 times in a row. After 3, 4 or 5 runs, things become predictable, but no changes were made by your DC, that says something.

I mean seriously, read the room here in this interview, Wilson is not upset, or mad at all. He had his big payday, he has a ring, he’s been in the league too long, now he’s just collecting checks for mediocracy type playing.

Id use Fields, if I was Tomlin, and I would build around ā€œHimā€. Id make Fields train the entire off season with a well known QB training guy, look what Pat Mahomes and Lamar Jackson does, most of their offseason, they train in passing, mechanics, and body form.

If not Fields, then get someone young, driven and hungry, but if it were me, Id stick with Fields.

I really miss our rivalry, (Ravens vs Steelers), it was always a blood bath, someone always left the game hurt, or limping because we both had legends on the field, hopefully we can get back to that.

Be cool yall, and stay safe!
    Much love and respect.
