He seems to be turning into that type of multipurpose player that makes any team better. Too much focus tends to be given on who scores the most points or whatever. Walker has so much potential. To hell with the recent trade speculations throwing him in to deals for overpriced players. Sending him off when he’s showing this type of potential while still on a rookie contract would be lunacy.
I’m particularly pleased he seems to have finally realized he’s a 6’7″ wall of muscle, not a frail 5’10” point guard shooting those delicate floaters constantly. He’s finally using his physique and physical gifts regularly. It was really irritating to see him play so small while TJ McConnell fearlessly charges to the basket with the 7-footers swiping at him.
This guy is so quick with his hands, it’s awesome.

Had been feeling iffy about our 1rps a bit. Really starting to eat my words and trust the plan we have for developing everyone.
Literally a flawless game from him. He looked like a future star.
I saw his play last night while I was playing 2K and was like he is really twitchy tonight. Playing at a high level. Great active hands!
Love the play where Nembhard had to switch but realized he wouldn’t be able to recover so he doubles the ball handler. Walker notices and knows they are passing towards that side so he immediately jumps to take away the pass. He was a step ahead of them, vs being a step or two behind defensively last year
I hope we don’t, but if we do decide to move on from Jarace, this clip should be shared with all suitors. He was AWESOME!
He has a shot at being more athletic Draymond. I don’t know if he’ll quite get to Draymonds level of basketball knowledge but he has the physical tools.
If Jarace ever starts, he will hold a record for most consecutive games with a deflection
