It’s an interesting move. The Rockies have now brought in four veteran infielders following the departure of Brendan Rodgers: Kyle Farmer, Thairo Estrada, Owen Miller, and now Keston Hiura.
Hiura is a 2B who had a great rookie season in 2019. Since then he looks completely over matched at the MLB level.
I don’t have much hope for this signing but there is no such thing as a minor league signing. He could be organizational depth.
