  1. When you talk about Jake Evans point performance the one thing that's not considered is that he's on the ice on the penalty kill what his performance on the penalty kill does is prevent the other team from getting points that ought to be considered on his point totals how much when he's on the ice the other team does not score

  2. Hallelujah!!!! Your channel has been a big part of my transformation, God is good.I had a $47,000 loan from the bank for my son's(Oscar) brain surgery.i am now debt free after I invested $8,000 and got my payment of $30,500 each month. God bless mrs mildred Evelyn rooney

  3. Cold funk? Hes back to normal is what it is. Trade him , if vegas wants him they can send over trevor connoly , if jersey wants him they send over dawson mercer or simon nemec and a mid rnd pick

  4. Evans is an asset of some value, but not all star status. He performs well in his role, but he's not 1C or 2C level. Other teams who make be making a run, may pay more for him but Habs are not Stanley Cup material yet. Give him a fair contract but never over pay for a guy hitting 30 who has never scored in big numbers.

  5. Why trade Evans for a draft pick? So we can MAYBE get a player like Evans? Doesnt make much sense. Hopefully we arent looking for picks anyway, a good young forward who's ready to play now, (IF they have to move him), too bad we didnt have a player like…Michkov, or maybe Ryan Leonard, oh ya, we do have reinbacher tho! lol. I love everything else we've done, pretty much, but wasting that draft pick was big. Imagine having Michkov and Hutson out there on the pp, with Demidov next year!! Or Ryan Leonard with Demidov, Hutson, Laine and Caufield! Our powerplay would be unstoppable, literally every player would be a big threat! Oh well, it didnt happen, i try to move on from it, but it's tough! But im working with my psychiatrist!!! She assures me another 3 or 4 decades and i won't even hardly remember it!!! lol.

  6. The draft for future part of rebuild is for the most part done the cupboards full we don’t need to trade Evan’s for draft picks. We need the Evan’s type going forward so SIGN Evan’s 3.5-4 mill per

  7. The habs had too many picks for the passed 5 drafts , including 2025, they entered each of these draft with 12 picks , so 60 picks since 2025, they have so many nhl bound prospects that they’re gonna be forced to trade some of them , so if there’s a trade it’ll be for a player not a pick

The habs only have 2 decent centres , Suzuki and Evans , besides that, we have guys like newhook and Dach playing centers but obviously aren’t , another thing is Montreal won’t have a single left handed center once Dvorak leaves , beck, Kapanen and Hage are all right handed .

So if Hugues trades Evans , he better have a good backup plan , cause trading Evans and not replacing him by something better will translate into the habs regressing next season

The scenario of Jake Evans getting traded for a A type center prospect is unlikely and late 1st rounders are worthless, habs scouting staff are so brutal , picks become irrelevant to a team with such poor scouting

So if they trade Evans , it better be for something worth it , a great prospect. His defensive play and amazing hard working attitude would help a team the same way Lehkonen helped colorado win a cup

Guys that would be interesting ? Depending where teams are at the deadline , trade proposal

Evans to Washington for Cole Hutson

Evans to New Jersey for Silayev

    Evans to Columbus for Oliver

Evans to Minnesota for Riley Heidt

Evans to Toronto for Fraser Minten

    Evans to LA for Greentree

Those are only examples but a thing is sure , if the habs, a team that been struggling to find centers for the passed 30 let go of Evans and Dvorak, they’ll be right back at the bottom of the league next season , cause beck and Kapanen won’t be ready to replace those two effectively for at least 3 years from now

Maybe it’s time for hugues to put a massive package together to finally aquire a decent established center to back up Suzuki

Cause the habs sure don’t have the room to give all their prospects with nhl potential a chance , these are all of the habs prospects who are most likely will be nhlers , Tuch, Xhekaj, Mesar, beck, Kapanen, demidov, Davidson , Hage, Harris, Boulet , RHP, Roy, Thorpe, Fowler, Volokhin, Bogdan , engstrom , mailloux . Plus you have guys that are being poorly developed due to the crazy amount of prospects in the organization and that aren’t getting enough ice time Farrell, Trudeau, RHP, Simoneau, Ect ect

Sometimes too much is like not enough, Montreal had too many picks , drafted too many player that turned out to have nhl potential but that won’t get a proper evaluation due to the congestion . Habs already were forced to let go of players that they should have kept

Danault , Lehkonen , monahan and kovacevik are all doing beyond amazing and are the type of players the habs need right now to take them to the next level

Just imagine the habs with danault , lehkonen, monahan and kovacevik in their lineup instead of gallgher , newhook, Pezzetta and dvorak .

Sure hugues has made good trades but the monahan, lehkonen and kovacevik weren’t one of them

  8. As good Evans has been for the Habs this season , don't mean he will have repeat seasons , he's playing this season for a contract ofcourse he has that extra incentive.

  9. Totally agree with keeping Evans, but I cannot wait for an upgrade on Dvorak. He displays the emotions of a rock, so I'm not worried about losing chemistry if he goes. Tough game tonight, let's go boys!

  10. Just keep Evan’s and make a playoff push.

He’s going to want too much to term to resign.

If and when the Habs lose him in the offseason than oh well.

They don’t need more draft picks .. with 9 picks already in the first 4 rounds of this coming draft.

  11. If the players want to take that next step, they know there will be changes made just like any other team does. You don’t play this game to say, it’s ok, we don’t have to win it all, we just have to be winners as a team so that we can keep our friendships. That’s not how it works. What can be done to complete the puzzle that would bring the Cup. Period. Is there risk? Sure. But it’s crazy that you can’t change any player because the team is gelling. Look how big a difference the Primeau and Baron changes made. Now all of a sudden, that’s it. No more changes? That’s just odd. You talk about Slav and compare him to Jake and talk about his points. Please , Jake has had as you said 10 years with Montreal and Slav is in his second, has a better year last year than Jake as had in his 10 years and you are saying he is more valuable?

  12. Am I crazy to think that this team, right now, is cup-worthy? If they play the same way until the 4 nations cup, I would try a run at the cup. Sometimes, you catch lightning in a bottle and never get back the chemistry you had. I don't think this team is a flash in the pan. Of course, some key injuries nullify my take, but I hope we don't let an opportunity pass by when it is available.

  13. Your assessment of Dvorak’s team building contribution comes as a real surprise … why? Because he’s part of that victory circle at the end of victory? We never see this guy smile. I never saw him interviewed. Look, maybe he’s shy, maybe he’s missing a few teeth … I respect that. But to say he’s an integral part of that locker room and that should matter in whether you trade him or not? Yikes!

  14. I hope they keep Evans.look how long it took him to become who he is. Who is going to replace that? Beck? Hage? Its going to take at least 3 to 4nyearsnbefore we have that. Might as well sogn him to a 5 year deal and punt the desicion to tradebhim in a couple years.
