[Purple Row] Who will be the Rockies’ closer in 2025?

  1. Kinley finished strong last year, hope he can keep that momentum if Buddy goes with him. Vodnik seemed to be promising as well if i remember correctly.

  2. My money’s on Kirby Yates. Super bullpen be damned, I think they go get a guy to lock a game down.

  3. How you should set up this bullpen:

    **Closer:** Halvorsen
    **RH Setup:** Vodnik
    **LH Setup:** Peralta
    **RH Middle**: Kinley
    **LH Middle:** Gibreath
**RH Long/Middle:** Hill or Chivili, and eventually moves into Kinley’s spot when he is traded.
Swingman: Lawrence or Bird. These are the guys who pitch wherever depending on who else is available.
**Spot Starter/Long Relief:** Bird or Criswell

That leaves Agnos, Hill or Chivili closing in Albuquerque. The #2 closer goes into a setup role with Bird or Criswell, Herget, Mejia, Woodford, Castillo, and Yan joining him in the Isotopes bullpen.

Rotation at Albuquerque is Dollander, Palmquist, Molina, Blalock, and Gordon. Molina and Blalock could also pitch in relief in the majors.

  4. Halvorsen or Vodnik because baseball is most fun when you have a closer who can come in throwing 100+ mph gas at the end
