  1. Honestly I hate to say this, only OMax cares about the team win-loss, the rest just care about themselves. When Kai and Luka not there, everyone wants to prove something. No defense, no ball movement, just street ball 1v1. Yeah, there are some good attacks, and some good 3s. But I didn't see TEAM for a very long time. Spencer, you are not a super star, remember that on 4th. And who can tell me what Jason Kidd is high on? At least Jason Kidd was a decent coach last season. But this season he's horrible. This team has no energy, no spirit this season.

  2. Hi, MAVS fans from Taiwan, it is worst performance of this season, and I think there has no excuse for coaching team because it seems like didn’t have any adjustments after losing the Nuggets. Here is my opinion to share:

    🏀Defense
    1. Improved Communication:
Enhance the on-court communication to avoid mismatches. Players need to call out screens and switches more effectively to ensure everyone is on the same page.

    2. Enhanced Zone Defense
Implement a more dynamic zone defense where CENTER stays rooted in the paint, but other players rotate more fluidly to cover any switches, even do the quick double team to recovery. This will help maintain rim protection while adapting to offensive movements.

    3. Switch Strategy
Minimize switches that pull the CENTER out of paint. Instead use a hedge and recovery strategy to keep CENTER near the rim and reduce easy paint points and offensive rebounds for the Pelicans .

    4. Rebounding Focus
Emphasize Boxing out and team rebounding. Assign specific players to crash the boards aggressively, especially against strong rebounders.

    5. Quick Recovery
After double-teaming, ensure quicker rotations back to the perimeter to contest three-points shots. This requires better anticipation and faster defensive shifts.

    🏀Offense
    1. Diversified Playmaking
Introduce more off-ball movement and cutting to create open opportunities. Reducing reliance on SIMPLE PICK-AND-ROLLS and encouraging players to be more proactive in finding space.

    2. Adaptive Offense
Adjust the offensive system to be less dependent on ball handlers like Kyrie and Luka. Incorporate more ball movement and player motion to create scoring chances without overburdening key players. And it could also decrease the turnovers especially Hardy as ball handler, actually he is more like pure shooting guard. And last chance for Klay, he is also the catch-and-shoot shooter, why he needs dribbling to create space alone instead of other people go and help him to create space for making a open shot?

    3. Complex screens
Implement more complex screening actions to confuse defenders and create better looks. For examples, use players like Klay to set off ball screens and run plays that pull the the defender out of position, even one more player join in to do the off-ball screen opening up for Klay or other shooters.

    4. Dynamic Cutting
Encourage Kyrie and Luka cut to the basket more frequently to draw the double teams and create open shots for teammates. Even this match only has Kyrie, but PJ, Naji, Grimes and Klay also can do the off-ball cutting to pull the defenders out of their positions, even creating more cutting lanes or open shots opportunities.

🏀The match contents shows not only old system is no longer effective, but also coaching team is out of function for making correct tactics both on offense and defense, even cannot using players in properly. This match highlighted the inefficiencies to the old system. It’s clear that changes are necessary for better performance.Let’s go MAVS🙏🙏💪💪

  3. I guess Kidd doesn't understand the concept of feeding the hot hand 🤦

Kyrie should've rested against the Nuggets and played this game so we could've had a better chance at winning

And I understand that no DLive meant Maxi had to play but in 14 minutes he gave you almost nothing

  4. Yep we got robbed. But Mavs also dugged their own grave here, refs just added the flowers on top of the soil. When you have two of your quote on quote worst defenders (Luka and Kyrie) out of the game, you should probably excel on defense right? And yet they let the pelicans score 119 points on them without Zion and BI

  5. I fcking knew it. JKidd won't do shit about it even though refs are fcking us in front of him. JKidd only shows that he won't fight for this team. Like he doesn't care. Other HCs will be livid with that shitshow from the refs.

  6. Yo you be crashing out… I don’t know what you was watching but Kidd went at the Refs in 2separate occasions on that missed call‼️ you need to get your eyes checked because at this point “it sound like hate” you gonna missing some of your likes bro

  7. This game was a epitome of my crashout and I ain’t even have midterms yet. Matter of fact ima change my major to “how to ref the NBA games properly so you don’t look like a complete twat”

  8. NBA Rule 13: section 1-13, they could have reviewed it. They are allowed to review any uncertain goaltending with 2 mins left in the 4th. Lesson learned as well, don’t leave it in the ref’s hands… play better defense, make free throws, etc. tough loss for sure!! This group is learning and they are keeping us within striking distance. No need to make trades, we need to get healthy, that’s all!

  9. I thought there were rules that only apply in the last two minutes of the game to combat things like this. Isn’t one of them that they can check the monitors to see if it is indeed a goal tend?
