  1. NO fkn shit. It never gets better. Even with rumour laffs want 24 he wont get isles shit-could have gotten a first or second from oil, la two tdl's ago. 29 has checked out-must move asap. Sorry pp just gets worse. pk still last. Offense is pop gun attack at best. Players just don't care. The obvious need to be moved. No player should be off-limits-13, 30 could get some nice pieces. 29 wont re-sign. 8 will be looking for 7×8 $$$'s as rfa. Makes no sense to sink that deal for 8 who is weak and mistake prone. Overrated because he is isles best d man-probably not a top pair d man on a contender. Just like 13-best fwd. on isles-second line c on contender. How did things get this fkd up? It just never gets better. So depressing… No future to look forward to. And acquiring $11 mil. man petey just makes no sense. Probably a good thing louzer can easily be outbid for petey. Not one move for an overpriced vet will save isles. No single move can magically transform isles to contender status.

  2. Gil, are they serious? I’ll drive Scottie to the airport. How about a toofer? Throw Pelech in the deal and let him go home like pajama boy. I’m more disgusted with Adam and how his play has gone down hill for years. If malkin really did hire st. Patrick to eventually take over then he must be involved with the trade deadline and moving out everyone possible.

  3. I feel really bad for lou…. he's been so loyal to these players, and they keep screwing him… maybe this is who they are.. and nothing more… he will clean the swamp… I think lou's patience is running out… especially if they find a way to lose tonight…lol…

  4. Hey Lou,, ,Lou wake up, do you know what time of the year it is? No, ,well i will tell you, firstly the team you put on the ice everyday STINKS,, do not believe me, look at the standings. Lou did you know we have not scored a PP since 12/8./24. It is trade deadline time, most capable GM's are now trying to improve their teams. You on the other hand are still hibernating this winter, MIA as always. You have ruined this team since you became GM. You are just like this team, OLD, Slow to make decisions, predictable. Lou the game has passed you bye big time, Do us Islander fans a big time favor and LEAVE ASAP. You have done a miserable job. In order for the Islanders to get to the playoffs we need to go 26-12….NOT going to happen, again TY LOU for screwing this team

  5. Good 🌄, Gil, how are you? I listened to the community podcast, and I'm glad that the Islanders are not a disappointment, just stuck in the mud. The Islanders looked bad when they lost to Ottawa, and because of that, the trade rumor mill is starting up again, this time, it's Scott Mayfield, but will Lou Lamoriello act on it, PROBABLY NOT. Nothing would be better than to get out of the muddy middle. Brock Nelson is listed, but he's thinking about testing the free agent market. The homestand is still young, but they still have a chance, IF THEY DON'T MESS UP AGAIN. Patrick Roy's right. They have to be more hungry. They haven't scored a PP goal in nearly 6 weeks. THEY NEED TO GO BACK TO BASICS. They've got those dreaded Flyers tonight. Now for 50 years, the Islanders have had the Flyers number whenever they come to LI whether it's at the Coliseum, or UBS Arena. Let's hope the Islanders will let that work in their favor. This is also the 1st ⏲️ they're playing the Flyers this season. HAPPY 🎂, VITERI MIKALEAN. Hear from you later, Gil, before I go, let me just say 2 things. 1st they need to go into the Islanders vault, and show them an old clip on how the guys worked when they had the PP, and 2nd from one Mets fan to another, and to quote the late Tug McGraw, YOU GOTTA BELIEVE! Now, LET'S GO ISLANDERS.

  6. The crowd was doing the wave the other night. If that’s not a sign to Louferatu that the fans no longer care about the product on the ice, then I don’t know what is. The owners need to wake up soon too because they’re lucky people are still willing to waste their money on this team…..for now. Without any trades or changes soon I expect an empty arena by next month.

  7. Good morning team! Gil, I agree with everything you said, and I also agree with everyone's comments. The Islanders can put together a few games here and there, but then it's back to literally being the worse team in the league, arguably. I can't remember a PP goal drought like we're having now. Also, if Lou believes we can still win now, then he's more senile then he lets on. I'm a huge Islander fan, as you all are. I absolutely love to see the team win, but what's best for the team long term, is to lose their remaining games. Now I know that won't happen. Each player still wants to win, and they will win some games here and there. Great! I can say I don't want the team to make the playoffs, and I want them to trade at or before the deadline. Everyone, have a great day! Enjoy the game tonight. See everyone again tomorrow. Until then.. Let's Go Islanders!!

  8. Gm Gil. Until ownership ends their period of being MIA the insanity will continue. there isn't a player on this roster that should not be considered as trade capital. The Mayfield contract is utter insanity which is why Lou is chomping at the bit to extend him. In all seriousness, the Leafs could easily take advantage of his contract to get him.

  9. NY Post article by Ethan Sears about how bad isles PP is 10.5 % 5th worat son e stat was created in 1977-78. So remmeber when we got horvat and how much he would help the PP? Remmebr how Barzal was such a great playmaker he can set guys up? Remember how Dobson was out qb on the point from the blieline? All sarcasm aside WTAF???!! Do we have
the players or not? Made a
    coaching change, what is the
    issue? Is it players? Coaches?
Mgt? Idk anymore. This is now on the owners IMO. Malkin and Ledecky have had it easy since they took full control. Now lets see if they can make the right choice. Is this a full rebuild or retool? Not sure anymore

  10. Enjoyed the group podcast ! The team has lost the identity they had in recent years . What has happened to the defense? Hard to enjoy watching this team . Appreciate what you do !

  11. They have a great new arena for no reason. This organization has been a laughing stock since about 1995. Owners, Gm's, players, coaches……..a low budget, ass clown show. A disgrace to their original builders and Cup winning teams. When will they hire a younger hungry GM / Coach that actually understands how to build a team instead of the revolving door approach that has failed miserably for decades. Get rid of all these players and start over new. They never won anything anyway. No one should be kept. Trade both goaltenders for very high draft choices. Trade everyone else for whatever you can get back in picks and young tough guys. Give the coach and Gm 5 years to build the team from the bottom up. Having this group stay together would mean 5 more years of dreary no scoring lousy play and last place in the standings. Sign about 3 veteran forwards who have been on good teams and 3 veteran defenseman who have been on good teams so that at least the young guys will have someone to learn from. Get rid of all those assistant coaches and hire a coach who needs no more than 2 assistants. Roy is not a coach. Fire that guy now.

  12. Lou is delusional if we could make playoffs or compete in first round. It's best to trade Mayfield, Pageau, Nelson and Palmeri. Net 4-5 draft picks. But that would take Luo to realize the obvious anything poit, he'd be hanging it up, etc. They don't do this, the ownership is as much to blame which means a way worse situation that we have thought.
