Maybe it’s a conspiracy but I believe the Dodgers funded this entire charade to make it believe they didn’t already have an agreement with Sasaki. This is just par for the course for the Padres. The question is now what? No money and a roster in need. Sell outs night after night and they pivot to messy ownership and sitting on their hands getting sucked in by the Dodgers charade. Annoying.
