So AJ was drinking his sorrows away.

  2. I saved up a ton of money once to buy myself a pair of Jordans. They weren’t a good fit and I never returned them. Just sat there looking at them. Because they were Jordans.

  3. I blame the ownership dispute.  Perhaps that didn’t matter but it didn’t help either.

  4. Dodger fans are so spoiled. This should be a disappointment for baseball fans everywhere.

  5. Sucks when your escapism is just a constant reminder of the rest of reality. The rich get richer.

  6. Hahaha i knew not to believe anything that comes out of anyone’s mouth… Didn’t he say he doesn’t want the bright lights, the spot light and all the attention on him? That he’s a quiet guy, mellow and likes his privacy…. Hmmm i knew not to trust him and at the end of the day they tell you what you wanna hear and then do the complete opposite, smdh…. Dude just say dodgers and get it over with…. Just like everyone else go join the super team and get a easy ring without barely lifting a finger 🤣🤣🤣

  7. The most disappointing part isn’t even that he didn’t choose the Padres. It’s that we were eliminated BEFORE the Blue Jays! Like come on man (no disrespect to Toronto…I seriously hope he goes there at this point).

If he goes to LA? I’m seriously considering not following baseball at all for the rest of the decade. It’s already pretty ridiculous at this point, and that would just be the final straw for me.

  8. Man, I don’t even wanna watch baseball this year at this point. Not in a fairweather way, but a “I don’t wanna support this product anymore” way.

Rename the MLB to DAF (Dodgers and Friends), according to every media outlet, this is all Good For Baseball™

  9. I’m convinced (no evidence) the Seidler bros forced AJ to bow out so the dodgers can get him. (I will not be convinced otherwise)

  10. Why do us San Diego fans suffer so much? No championships. No nation wide respect. Especially Padres. If anything we LOSE franchises. Chargers, Clippers, Rockets, Loyal etc. For the Padres, we were told Roki wanted a more low key So Cal environment with Yu instead of being swallowed up by LA spotlight. No way he’s not signing with the Dodgers! Right?! Wrong! Fak man!!! The rich get richer. Dodgers defer money, have a deep farm system, while we have ownership in fighting, stuck in long term contracts unable to pay for any free agents to solve holes in team without going over the luxury tax. It’s sickening. Worse because Dodger fans are brutal and obnoxious as heck. You know they are already razzing us the moment they heard the Roki news.

  11. I’m becoming more and more OUT on baseball. If it is going to be uncompetitive in terms of teams spending abilities then it’s not worth watching. I stop watching and following La Liga, and other European soccer leagues because of this.
