  1. The players QUIT last year vs Colts and this year vs. Ravens in a PLAYOFF game !! The players cant say it publicly but they have zero faith in the game plans or the coaches hence the quitting and negative body language.

  2. Lamar, Mahomes, Hurts, Burrow, Lamar again…QB driven league. What are we even talking about? Brady, Ben, Mannings….last 20 years how many QBs who arent elite have won Superbowl's? Only problem with keeping Tomlin is he is too good to get a top 5 pick because half the league is garbage.

  3. surprised Gerry said that the team doesn't have a "dynamic player coming off the bench."
    i thought… Nick Herbig?
he hasn't put it all together… yet. but they beat the Chargers in wk…3? cos of his speed off the edge, 2 sacks and a FF.
sure wasnt' the offense doing anything

  4. Don’t blame the defense. Lack of coaching, of communication ,offensive, man to man coverage. Need to draft better players. Get coaches some know and play the game. Fire all Mike friends.

  5. # In Steelers Nation ; We don't walk on water ,But who is Dense ! For How long has AFC & NFC Eaten our Lunch! Come on Mississippi ! We need to look in-between the sheets on aquire ( 3 ) Legit Ruthless Corners that make a Statement in a Pennsylvania Minute! Add Another Nose Tackle and Outside Pass rusher that continues to Kick the Door In All day ,All season Long ! Da linebackers will work it's way like a compass * Traditionally ,Naturally . I'n a dictionary it's saying Quicker Elements. Do we really know time is short in this life that is Loaned We Value your gift of Athleticism and Blessings; In a small market since the beginning. Way to say ,hard to do .Lord Hear this Prayers….

  6. The #1 reason the Steelers choked? Russell Wilson. He was just so bad at Quarterback. Nice guys do finish last. Steelers need a better Quarterback for next season, bottom line.

  7. Having a superstar ball hawk like minkah 30 yards off the ball at all times is an issue.

Having the OLB only do outside rush the same way every single play is an issue.

Not disguise pressure for any amature qb can read is an issue.

The defensive scheme is trash. Hot trash mixed with seafood.

    FIRE THE DC!

  8. After listening to this guy i understand why they are the way that the steelers are, and why they'll never win in the playoffs for the foreseeable future.

The defense was not that great to end the season, and in the playoffs. But the offense hadn't scored 20 points in a game since week 14.

You aren't going to hold hold every team to 10 point for an entire season and all throughout the playoffs. The 2000 Ravens were a once in forever kind of defense, you can't just put all your money there and expect to be the 2000 Ravens.

The steelers spend all of their money in that defense, so the goal is to double down on that and focus on the defense even more.

    Good stuff.

  9. Thank goodness they have Cam Heyward? That dude is pushing 40…lol…He's an old man for the NFL
He also mentions the Eagles, Ravens and Chiefs and leaves out the other team in the division that beat them – Cincinnati
Joe Burrow has a winning record against the Steelers and it's only going to get better. There's a reason why Vegas had them winning 6 games.
They got smoked when the games mattered most down the stretch and if not for that unlikely start, their record would have been close to 5-6 wins

  10. Got lucky. They really aren't that good. Bad O-line, suspect secondary, receiving corp has no separation speed or has the dropsies, need a qb like the Browns do, Cam Heyward is slowing down and no other DL is helping him, front 7 is not what it used to be(getting freight-trained by RBs every week). Get better players. Drafting kinda sucks. It's not Tomlin.

  11. So all good points raised there Gerry however when you have a coach and ownership that just accepts it all as "the standard". As long as seats and stadium remains full it will remain the standard.

  12. I laugh at all the people calling for Tomlin's head, when just 19 weeks ago all the media was saying this was going to be the year Tomlin had a losing record. Boy were they wrong. Tomlin got the job done and that is with losing his round 1 and round 3 draft pick to injuries and each playing less than one game.

  13. If we make adjustments to the O-line, and the receiver room we’ll be better next year. Russ played well for what he had. The defense would have been better if they weren’t on the field for whole game. Not seeking comfort here but the Steelers are a good football team despite what the fans are saying and our head coach is phenomenal.

  14. Defense to blame, sure they have some blame. But the offense was always in a 3 and out – you can't expect your defense to constantly be on the field week after week and for them to be able to sustain a high level of play.
