Padres need to make a decision. Either do a small rebuild for 2 years and trade King, Cease and Arraez right now. OR go all in for the next 2-3 years and do a full rebuild after that. And at this point going all in would mean trading Salas, Devries and Mayfield at some point in 2025

It’s so weird that the Padres finish third. If the Dodgers end up getting him then it seems to me like the plan the entire time was to have an outside team come in second so they could make it appear like they gave a fair shot to everyone and didn’t have it down to the Padres and Dodgers the entire time
