2. I’m kinda confused by it, but I’m not a GM. I assumed they’d just play Stetch or Brown until the deadline and pick up a #4 shutdown guy, unless they think it’ll be unlikely to get one. But if he hasn’t played in a while and now has like 1.5 months to show what he’s got, doesn’t really make sense to bother with doing this.

4. He is a smooth puck mover but can be a defense liability. I don't mind it, it's a low risk high reward signing.
