If people are losing hope over a football team that has no attachment to how there life turns out then there’s a big fan worship problem, there’s no reason to act like the world is coming to a end or be depressed for people or a team that makes a lot of money for doing what they love to do, sports is like the Roman Colosseum to distract you from the real problems that going on in the world and America because it’s a very very dark history here and it’s sickening, anyways what if Steelers won a playoff game is that gone make peoples life better? And if it does then that’s a problem in itself

  5. Hey DK long time fan of the show love the content but idk man, Dionte Johnson and GP in my opinion are worlds apart talent wise ! I do think GP could mature a little more but man if he walks or if Steelers let him walk he will definitely get signed ASAP

    And that is directed at the Steelers hierachy….not GP. The Steelers ARE and HAVE… failed him, as Johnny Aces commented earlier.

  11. Agree with his challenges with professionalism on the field and media interactions. BUT, not sure if Mike T and any of his OCs can maximize his talent. Any WR needs to be fed the ball in Q1 and often, otherwise, they are just running around for nothing. Most WRs can't be angelic like Hines Ward.

  12. Tomlin holds the all-time NFL record for losses to teams at .500 or worse on the day they played the game (in stadiums!) The loss to the Bengals was #43….I believe. That's Troys number, AND Tomlin has his sights on Mel Blounts number #47… then watch out Iron Mike!!

  13. I love the theme of todays show because that’s exactly what I’m thinking when it comes to him lol. Somebody is gonna pay him. I think we will tolerate him until we can replace him. I don’t have an issue with George. Do you know something crazy? I believe Nico Collins did the same celebration that GP caught a flag on but Nico didn’t get a flag. GP is a talent. He could’ve benefited from having a solid wide receiver too. And now that he’s gone through a full season with him being the main WR I think he’ll have a different perspective.

  14. I’m hearing a lot of Tomlin hate when a man coached his team to the playoffs with a subpar offense new offensive coordinator, shuffling quarterbacks with the toughest schedule, especially down the stretch. Nobody even expected us to have a above 500 record. Wonder why DK never mention that?

  16. George is way more talented than the rest of this roster and he acts like he knows it.

    Let’s just be real, he’s the best thing going and has stomached inept coaching from OC and bad qb play. Horrible O line to boot.

  21. As my father would say German Stubborn Bullhead (because we were mostly German) and I've always been a bullhead myself which is not a great trait but hard to overcome. So we have two bullheads the Rooney's & Mike Tomlin neither who like change or who think they are doing anything wrong. Our best hope is Tomlin's retirement seems like and obviously his players love him which is hard to ignore by the Rooney's. God Bless you DK for keeping us in the know.

  22. I have more HOPE in the proven & in-the-know invested ownership than in all the Monday morning Quarterbacks. We’ve over achieved every year for the past 5 seasons but still managed playoff games somehow. I’m proud of that accomplishment. Yes! I want a lot more.

  23. I understand George is a bit of a head case with that being said what are you supposed to do? Trade him and that way now you need two top tier receivers as opposed to keeping George and needing one more top receiver or at least an actual NFL starting caliber number two

  25. You can't pay a head case like Pickens. There are too many good receivers coming out of college or free agents with their head on straight. Steelers please do the right thing for a change

I appreciate your comment DK and you’re right some of the stuff is getting old but at the same time I’ve been a fan since 77 and I’m not content but just having a good record, but I’m looking at the overall picture. We have a Young team right now. Justin Fields gets signed get us another receiver offensive and defensive line help We’ll get this program going. Give us some time watch.

  28. If we don’t game next season in the playoff postseason, then I really will be pissed, but I will always be a united nation, stealer fan I’m looking at winning my division next year for sure.

  30. Steelers for life is not a phrase it is a choice. I live in Cowboy country and have followed My team since the 70s. Come what may I will be a continue to follow AND enjoy my team. Go STEELERS

  34. Where are the changes? It’s Friday and not a peep of any coach firings or hirings. Same old same old. Other teams around the league are firing and hiring. Making moves. Not us.

  35. I get the complaints about George behavior, but at the same time i want players with that fire, outspoken and angry when the team is not performing.
