  1. Schefter doesn't really have opinions, he's just a message boy. Could his message on Ben Johnson be from the Bears or Jags? Sure. It could also be from Ben Johnson's agent. As long as multiple suitors are out there his client has leverage to sweeten the deal, wherever he ends up.

  2. Asking the guy who is a mouthpiece for owners/teams in order to get his "scoops" is NOT a more credible for Troy Akman on the viability of a job by real football men.

  3. If there was ever an offensive coordinator job open for Dan Orlovsky. I think the Detroit ๐Ÿฆ would make sense if they were to lose Ben Johnson to a head coaching jobs. Dan Orlovsky know Detroit. He familiar with the city.

  4. What is up with Schefter sh**ing on the Raiders?
Talking about all of these teams, there exists more than just one reason as to why they are even in search of another Coach.
Thought Schefter was all about 'Reporting' the news and not another 'Opinion' mouthpiece.
    Shame. ๐Ÿคซ

  5. Every other reporter: All signs all are leaning towards Ben Johnson being the next Raiders HC
Schefty: I donโ€™t think he will their coach because I hate the Raiders.

  6. We all know Jerry is going to drag this out all the way through Super Bowl weekend, and then hire a retread coach and yes man. This whole Prime thing is for attention. If itโ€™s not, why interview so many people? He could interview the minimum required candidates and hire Deion.

  7. Den Orlosky was a terrible player, awful TV character, and would not demand anyoneโ€™s respect in the NFL. No one remembers him as a player besides running out of bounds trying to throw a pass on a 0-16 Detroit Lions. He never got in besides that so one remembers him as a player besides being reminded he was a player
