Gafford might be available, should Memphis be taking a look?

I would have liked him at a point, but as it is now, i think our big situationis fine
No, need a vet with playoff experience who can create their own shot. Preferably a 3 with size. For once our front-court depth is pretty solid
It’s crazy because my husband and I were watching the Mavs last night and I told him I loved Gafford and would like to see him in a Memphis jersey. He asked me who I would want them to give up to get him and I had to backtrack my words. I like the big guys we have! Really don’t need another at the moment. I’ll just continue to like him as a maverick since that’s hubby’s team.
Already got JJJ, Edey, and Santa
I do think we need another big man. Edey is not reliable enough yet as a rookie to trust in the playoffs and I think having more insurance than Jay Huff would be nice.
Theoretically Vince and Marcus are coming back and will play. We have defensive wings, and our pace is so fast that we wont win anyways if we are slowed down to halfcourt sets over and over in the playoffs.
Having another highflying big that runs the floor better than Edey is pretty nice.
Yes we should be looking- I know the playoffs were 2 years ago at this point for us but our personnel has only added a rookie big. Not to mention, every western conference team pummels us down low. And at 11 million for next year with, this is a home run addition.
My guess is they’d want smart and move off another piece which is probably a no go. If you can get him straight up for Jitty and Jake, run it.
