We moved on to late missed hurts and Lamar so we wouldn’t hurt his fucking feelings what a braindead question yall are a joke.
Ben only looked so bad bc of Matt Canada
Didn’t move on soon enough could have drafted Herbert and move on from Ben the next year.
Stop, stop, stop!!!!, deeke please stop, it was time
If Pickett and Trubisky were who we were moving onto then yes we moved on too soon from Ben. They should have never traded for Minkah after Ben was injured, should have tanked 2019 season, drafted Herbert, had Ben play 2020 season with Herbert on the bench for a year and transitioned in 2021.
Moved on a lot sooner and drafted Lamar instead of Edmunds who wasn’t even a first round prospect
If the bills lose to Raven’s what will it take to get Josh Allen. Or 2.5 Big Ben. What will it take to get a proven QB in this league like a Josh Allen or Joe burrow
😂 WTF Yahhh Talkin Bout Moats 😳 🤡 🦖
Tomlin is the problem
Ben was cooked in his last season. If you think that we moved off of him too soon, you are thinking with your heart and not thinking logically. Probably should have moved on after the elbow injury in '19.
I love been ben but he was 2-3 years too long in the league
The answer is unequivocally "FUCK NO" he hung around 2 years too long
And this is the same problems Wilson had
Ben had him unplugged 🤣
They thought Ben was the issue….and he was aging…but the offensive line was so bad he had to get rid of the ball faster than any quarterback in the Leland was getting clobbered while throwing the ball ….
They didn't move on fast enough his arm was a rubberband. He's why the team is where it is. Deke is so delusional
Way too soon and we started blowing calls while he was still here. Whoever is calling plays on offense needs to go and clearly it wasn’t Canada… the problem is still here hiding… run, run, screen pass with either loss of yards or zero gain then punt. Ben said he would take over in the 4th if they were behind and every time that happened we came back and won then Ben leaves and it’s the same old 💩 run, run, screen pass then punt. Play way too conservative until the game is too far out of hand.
We just need a line that’s it Ben is too old
Deke is right. Both tackles, center, and 🇨🇦 were ASSe. Ben couldn't run. But was Brady mobile? Tomlin is the problem.
Hell no! Didn't move on soon enough. In the 2018 draft, We could have had Lamar Jackson, but instead we pick Terrell Edmonds. Then in the 3rd round we pick a QB ..Mason Rudolph. Go figure?
What kind of a question is that? Didn't you guys watch him the last few years of his career they stuck with him too long is what they did just like they do with too many players and certain coaches
We can't know anything because Tomlin destroyed this offense with Canada for 3 years. Ben may have had another year or two in him. Kenny could have been great. Tomlin ruined it all, and continues to.
Kenny not working was a big part of all this
As a Steelers fan I feel like they held on to Ben too long
Stupid thing you put up so far
Goodness deke I love Ben as much as the next guy but your so delusional 😂😂
Big Ben was there 3 years too long…
What kinda question is this?..
We held on til the wheels fell off
What good can come out of this discussion? 🔥 TOMLIN
Truth is we held on too long but gave up at the worst time ever. Like honestly the Qbs that came after were trash
If Milroe available in the 2nd round, draft him like Philly did Hurts
No.
Arch Manning will be available in 2026….just saying….tanking for the Arch!!!
Dog I can’t believe Deke is still beating this horse…. 😩
No. They didn’t get a good QB to replace him. Could have drafted Lamar Jackson. Justin Fields is Lamar Jackson. Do what ravens did. Put 3 good receivers on the field. Can do exact same with Russell Wilson but Justin has way more years. Can get 8 more good years from Justin Fields!!
Claypool and Diontae are better than the WR’s Steelers out on the field this past season!!
They should have traded Ben after the Conference Championship loss to NE or at the end of the following season. Stack picks and build a new squad with the picks.
Moved on WAAAAAAY too late.
He wanted to flirt with retirement so the Steelers got Rudolph and then he got mad and said that was a wasted pick and that they could have got him another weapon instead.
Glad he is gone.
Too soon . Ben carried in the worst offensive scheme ever in the nfl . Kendrick Green at center no run game . Lead the league in 2 minute drives . Lead the nfl in 4th quarter comebacks . Keeping Ben does not mean not drafting a qb . Preach Deke .
Didn't move 5 years ahead of time please let Ben go gewezzz
Moved too late
Moved on too late
We should’ve been moved on from Big Ben and let Mason cook if you want to say sabotage lol we had no back up plan
Ben is a true Steeler legend but that doesn’t change the reality of his situation. Ben’s arm and body was shot. We waited far to long to look for our next QB. That set us back for a long time. I was hoping Pickett was the guy. If only that had been the case.
Not watching the video but I can assure you I’ll never watch one of your videos with a take like this. Ben set our team back so many years for being a stubborn baby and not allowing us to draft his successor. I don’t respect him as much as I should for that. Really hurt this team more than he helped in his later years. F you ben and fire Tomlin. And blacklist Arthur moats
No one talks about it but I heard he also hurt his hip against the bills first game of that season. BA said something about it.
