An American original. Nothing like him. We are much poorer.
Bob Costas, you too are a broadcasting genius as well. Bob Uecker may not have been a great catcher, but the man knew how to entertain with a call of a game, a story, or a joke; Always with a straight face. NOW THERE'S TALENT! AMERICA IF GOING MISS HIM.😢❤😊
He was like the Forrest Gump of baseball….he saw a lot…forgot more than we ever knew …
Just a bit outside
I loved him as an actor and announcer, I was not born when he was a MLB player. He was so hilarious.
We WILL Miss You Bob. Thanks for the Hepatitis that Made You MISTER BASEBALL. GOD REST YOUR WONDERFUL SOUL from ALL of BASEBALL.
He was one of my all time favorites. Such a funny man.
Like most around my age who grew up with the Brewers, we've been listening to the legend our entire lives. After suffering the generally unbearable winters in Wisconsin, it was the arrival of Spring Training and hearing Uke on the radio, that it was clear summer would only be another six or seven short months away. I only wish he could have called one Brewers World Series championship.
Milwaukee baseball will never be the same.
The best ambassador Baseball ever had!
Very sad. But 90? I'm in.
He morphed like a caterpillar into a butterfly, RIP dear sir.
Bob Uecker’s head in Futurama is hilarious. He calls a blurnsball game. RIP Bob. You will be missed.
Beneath the self deprecation, was a proud and decent man…What a life, to make so many people happy, it’s a blessing and those of us who laughed are grateful.
I was never a Brewers fan, but definitely a Bob Uecker fan. I still quote the Miller Light commercials, even though nobody got the references.
As a Michigander, it's awesome that they kept him in the booth, doing what he loved, unlike what was done to the late, great Ernie Harwell, here in Detroit.
Once in the late 1990s on an NBC game the catcher was hit in the mask by foul tip. As the catcher took a minute to clear his head, Costas asked Uecher how it feels when that happens. Uecher said "It kind of feels good".
I just love him. What a joy he was. May he rest in laughter and eternal peace.❤
Rare trait that someone can speak extemporaneously like he did when he gave his HOF speech- not a single note to refer to. He was authentic, self deprecating and original. MLB is better becuase of Bob Ueucker. Thank you sir.
Well said, Bob!
Thanks for being such a good friend Bob Costas
Hawk Harrelson distant second. R.I.P Mr Baseball
Lookup all the Bob Uecker stories from Norm MacDonald and Artie Lange. 🙏😹😹
This Milwaukee native is in mourning. Hello? Uecker Stadium?
bob shouldn't be on tv anymore, he should retire with biden, he hates this Country
Thanks so much for this! Bob Uecker was one of a kind, will be remembered and missed. RIP Bob, God bless you.
Uecker lot will be full on opening day. Summer starts when you hear ueck on the radio!
I'm sure when he gets to Heaven, they will put him "in the front row!"
May God bless and keep you, Uek! Huge loss for us, but God bless.
Uecker was the best.
I have had the good fortune to listen to him broadcasting Brewer games since the beginning. 😊
The best times were when the games were blowouts and he told stories. I will miss him greatly…..
It's a shame that Bob Costas has become a TDS-suffering lunatic.
I grew up a Cubs fan in a Brewer family. I feel lucky that I got to grow up with the magic of not only Harry Caray, but later Bob Bob Uecker as the voices of baseball to me. Thank you Bob for all the enjoyment you added to baseball for me and my family.
90 years giving smiles and laughter that guy live the good life.

Very well said. Im from and I am Milwaukee. He is my constant. RiP 🙏
Get up Get Up get out of here he’s gone, you will be missed.
Love you, Bob.
I ran into Bob Costas in the Tallahassee airport restroom in 1990. He was standing at a urinal. So was I. We nodded. Then we went our separate ways.
Everyone should hope that they meet a man a great as this, in their lifetime!
God Bless you Bob Uecker…may you watch over the stadium forever!
