Last year was a better off season. Getting Ohtani and his contract has allowed the Dodgers to go out and spend on these free agents
Regarding Roki.
Shohei to Andrew Friedman: "We got him".
Regarding Tanner Scott.
Friedman to Shohei: "We got him".
In 2020, players were going on the Covid list, players were worried about thier families and the Dodgers stayed focused during a difficult time and Won a Title! How does that not count! SMH
Will be interesting to see how the Dodgers construct the pen. With the signing of Scott they have a lot of high leverage guys , which is good, but the 6 man rotation will require them to have a couple of long relievers in the pen too for the regular season.
Best off-season ever? Oh, come on! Without ohtani, yamamoto, glasnow, and Hernandez, you would be lamenting yet another title-less season. When you get the best player in baseball, who significantly increases financial benefits and global market expansion for the team, who immediately wins the MVP with what arguably is the greatest single season performance in baseball history, and who immediately leads the team to a title, THAT by default makes that the greatest off-season in club history. Adding three more high impact players just adds greater distance to the title and the runner-up. To even raise the question of this being the greatest off-season is a textbook case of being trapped in the moment. Why are some fans so ridiculous?
The Cubs Padres Angels none of these teams deserve players like Rocky or Ohtani they fail to realize these guys are international stars and are bringing the game to other countries globally not just the United States they're worth every penny there's no secret let the MLB wants to expand internationally and have an international league and that will happen within 20 years and these guys are helping make that possible
Ohtani would've been a Dodger to start his career if the National League had the DH at the time…
The Dodgers gave the answer to Roki’s homework assignment that only the Dodgers could. “We’ll figure it out during Spring Training with Shohei and Yoshi…” 🤷🏻♂️ We win two more WS in the next six years, you can bet your a— Paul Skenes is putting on a Dodgers Uniform. 😅
