The Pistons have been on a roll, kudos to them. Cade was the best player on our home court today (TO double-double and near quadruple-double is funny though). Just sucks we lose before going into the gauntlet of Cavs twice and the Celtics. 2nd seed in jeopardy.
We were so sloppy with the ball today when we usually keep TOs low. Dillon blew his load last game and didn’t do anything. We really miss Bari’s length.
We’re still a really young team and you could see it down the stretch. Amen got frustrated after Sasser scored on him and decided to take over and try a pull up 3. Tari got blocked on an obvious 3 attempt to try and cut the lead in the clutch. Jalen and Sengun didn’t play well. We’ll bounce back, but we played like that with Dream in the building smh.
On the bright side, Fred and Amen stepped up, I liked some of the passing Jalen and Cam showed even with all the TOs, and Jock’s hustle after warming the bench was great to see.
🥲
Yikes
bad game.
Bad loss move on
I did not have fun
2 in a row against CLE will be interesting. Hope we can split at least. Then road game vs. Celtics😬 Would have been nice to win today and have some momentum, but every team has an ugly off day it seems.
I wonder if Jalen is pressing to keep the iron man thing going because the hand is obviously hurt.
back to back losses to .500 teams
4th 10 point+ loss of the season
Out muscled and out hustled all game
What a poor showing all around
Ugh
The Rockets were ice cold. Like my pipes tonight. Nah that’s stupid. Whatever though, that sucked.
sucks that one of the few times i get to watch the rockets at 7pm they played like they’ve never picked up a basketball before
No offense to FVV, but he was our best player today.
We’re gonna lose most nights when that is the case.
Horrible showing from Alpi (got bullied all game & lacked effort to boot!).
I understood it was a loss when I saw Landale in the 4th quarter. There was no point in keeping Sengun and FVV until the last 6 minutes. This match is on Ime. Next.
Only person show up today was FVV.
WHOLE team sleep-walking. not much to say tbh.
Only watched the second half. Man the offense is so hard to watch.
Rockets played like they didn’t wanna be at work today like at all
And yet another stinker from Sengun
I’ll stick to my opinion: last season Sengun deserved to be an allstar, this year however he does not
Well we still have the better Thompson twin!
I was saying to my brother earlier that these games that are on at a good time for my timezone are the exact type that a team will lose🙃
Pitiful effort. Can’t believe I watched that.
Alpi will probably be an all-star and he fully deserves it, but we need him to play like an all-star from start to finish. He just isn’t doing that with all of his inconsistency. He needs to stop looking defeated after every miss or bad play. He is not a rookie anymore
The biggest issue for us offensively is the lack of a good, consistent play maker. Nobody on the team is a good enough passer which often leads to a lot of 1 on 1 basketball. & when shots aren’t falling like today, there’s nobody who can get people a good look to help them out of a funk. Fred was supposed to be that but he’s not. We probably won’t be able to fix that this season though because the front office seems insistent on riding it out with what we have.
Sounds like it was a bad loss. Glad I didn’t know it was even going on lol
Might go on a 3 games losing streak now. 2nd seed was fun while it lasted
Ime needs to stop pulling our guys when they heat up. Our bench was cooking, being us back from a 15 point deficit to gain the lead. Then he benches them and puts in our starters, that blow the lead. Alpi starts getting some buckets, immediately pulls him.
I understand taking guys out when they’re doing well vs bad. But this just isn’t winning basketball.
The amen starting 4 wrinkle may have gotten figured out. Maybe time to adjust the rotation.
Going through big don’t overreact emotions right now
Cold day in Houston, especially from 3 in the fourth
That’s disappointing. Maybe the most disappointing loss of the season.
