    Ganiel Daffort DOES NOT want to be traded. 

    Kyrie Irving is not a morning person but has a coffee in the half time break. 

    Omax may develop into a NBA player after all.

    Josh Green keeps Josh Greening, but now for a different team. 

    Lamelo Ball is good at ball.

  14. It’s not the fact that the team is losing. These injuries are absurd.

    It’s how unbelievably inept the team looks in every aspect they are able to control without Luka on the court.

    I know this team is designed to be Luka centric, but these are NBA players, many with a high pedigree, yet somehow they cannot function on basic level. The offense is a jumbled mess. They cant initiate a single offensive set (if there are any outside of isos), they can’t find a way to get Klay looks, they can’t inbound, they can’t pass. On top of all that, the defense is absolutely atrocious, especially on the 3PT line.

    Every single aspect that the team could use compensate for Luka’s absence is disastrous. They should not look this bad, full stop. This is a coaching problem, and you can’t defend it much longer.

  15. I get we are severely injured but I’m somehow even more depressed after this loss than when we lost to the hospital Grizzlies earlier this month. Just mindnumbingly bad coaching and not a single clutch gene on any of these players.

  16. Not sure what’s going on with our offense in the 4th quarter.

    The turnovers are awful. Naji or Dinwiddie bringing up the ball when Kai is on the court — when are we going to end this stupid experiment?

  17. I am a massive JKidd fan as a player. It’s legit only getting worse and worse as him as coach. The blunders are starting to become so apparent.

    We have a time out with 10 seconds left down by 3 and his decision is “just let them do what they want”.

    It’s unfortunate because I like JKidd, but he’s just not him. Sucks.

  18. Criminally underusing Klay this game, with our injuries right now he needs to be taking more than 5 shots.

    Nothing really else to be said, we caught the injury bug and it showed. Need to bounce back and stop wasting these Gaff games

  20. If this game is not a wake up call then I don’t know what is. Kidd can’t coach when Luka is out. He doesn’t know how to use half of the players on this roster.

  23. Yes, they’re shorthanded and that makes everything more difficult. But a championship caliber team finds ways to win these games. Mavs aren’t that team this year

  28. We know this team is awful without Luka but I am consistently baffled that Jason Kidd has not figured out an offense that can consistently generate good looks without depending so heavily on isolation scoring.

    Also, how the absolute fuck do we ALWAYS give up so many open threes? When will it end? I hate being at the mercy of other teams nailing their diet of practice shots every game.

  32. Kidd is a good manager of egos but simply isn’t capable of elevating a roster that’s missing key pieces the way Rick could. Wish we could have the best of both worlds but those kinds of coaches are rare.

  33. This is one of the Must-Win Games we had till All Star Break considering all the tougher teams we have on the schedule. How many losses to bottom teams will it take till y’all realize the playoffs are out of reach? We’re not going 26-0 after the All Star Break even with Luka. This team will be lucky to make the Play-In

  38. Ugly loss to one of the worst teams in the league. looking at schedule they’re very likely to lose next 3 and be at 23-23 heading into the game vs the Wizards. My dream of being at .500 + for Luka’s return is looking unlikely.

  39. Kidd sucks. Just watch our offense compared to someone like OKC’s. So much strategy and movement to theirs and everyone is on the same page. Bummer man. I’m burnt out on watching a Jason Kidd led team.

  40. How many games now have we lost due to this stupid ass team going back to Spencer Dinwiddie standing at the top of the key dribbling the air out of the ball for 20 seconds? We can’t even figure out how to get fucking Kyrie the ball. It’s absolutely embarrassing how horribly coached this team’s offense is. Yes the players need to actually go out there and make the shots and defend but Kidd’s dumbass also needs to figure out some fucking plays and how to generate offense without depending on Luka and Kyrie to do everything.

    I don’t give a single fuck about the injuries. 75% of the losses since Luka went down have been completely winnable but came down to Spencer bullshit ISO in the clutch for no reason and horrible execution. Can’t close quarters. Can’t close games. At some point it’s on Kidd. Go look at teams like the Cavs, Thunder, Magic, even the Grizzlies, even with injuries look at how well coached they are. Every player knows exactly what to do, when to cut, the exact rotations they need to make.

    Even when we’re fully healthy we always have these bullshit ass losses and losing streaks because of Kidd’s rotations or horrible playcalling. Remember last year after the trade deadline. Remember 4 clutch losses in a row earlier this year. I mean do you remember the Pelicans game the other day where we were running fucking Klay iso dribbles at the top of the key out of timeouts in the clutch? I mean what the fuck is that?

    This is a roster that would win 65+ games fully healthy or 50+ games even with all these injuries if we had an elite Xs and O’s coach. Our ceiling with Kidd is always gonna be 50 because he’s too much of a players coach that plays down to competition and accepts the players doing whatever they want to out there because he “tRuStS thEm to fAiL and LeARn” or whatever.
