  1. Hi Peter, while annoying to see and very discouraging to witness, I believe this will push the "smaller" teams to congregate and push back. But time will tell. I just need to remind everyone that the champagne does not flow forever.

  2. Can you hard cap unfair to rest of the league and I can not believe the owners for 90 % of this league can not afford these contracts why do u not take out the dodgers and the Yankees and a few others teams let then start there own league. Where is this fair HARD CAP NEEDS TO HAPPEN. When fans stop going to games and watching on TV then when this happens we'll MLB will do something. What ever happened to the owners were beefing then salaries were to hi. Like really! No kidding! I have better things to do then watch the Yankees and dodgers play every year in the world series this is very wrong. Rob Manfred should be fired by most of the owners. How is this fair! Cmon MLB get a grip.

  3. If you don't understand the fact baseball is the ultimate team sport, then you simply don't know baseball. Assuming you agree Shohei is the best player in MLB, tell me how many World Series has he won during his 6 year tenure with the Angels? I am waiting. A big fat zero! In other words, even the best player in the world cannot do it by himself. It is very difficult to win a World Series, you need a whole cast of great players to make it happen, even then it is far from guaranteed. That is why people want to join the Dodgers amongst many other reasons such as amazing front office, coaching, players, beautiful warm and sunny LA, etc. In fact, you should give players props for willing to take less to join the Dodgers because that would mean they actually do care about winning as opposed to being some greedy money-grubbers who would only go for the highest bidder. I know you are a Blue Jays fan, imagine if one day the Jays becomes a destination of choice, would you have a problem if players were to show a distinct preference for the Jays simply because the organization is doing things right? I guess not.

  4. Tanner Scott joined the Dodgers bx yes, he wants to win, but also he likes the fact the Dodgers only go after good guys. No drama in their clubhouse like you'd find on the padres but also, the Dodgers take care of players' families, which players are grateful for.

  5. Every team has the money. Blame the cheap owners who aren’t willing to spend and stop crying. Maybe now other teams will wake up and copy the dodgers playbook.

  6. Terrible take. Maybe if you had better takes people would subscribe more. It’s not like the players are taking huge pay cuts. They’re getting paid competitive contracts. How are the other teams allowing the Dodgers to take these players? How do you blame the players for taking these money AND playing for a great organization while getting the best chance to win. Don’t act like you wouldn’t go there. Horrible take.

  7. If you can’t even sign your best player, and you have a crazy team. Why would go there? Look at Teoscar. You guys freaking traded him, and now you’re wondering why he didn’t sign with you. Pathetic.
