I completely forgot, him in game 1 kept our offense moving so we have a greater chance than I thought
He’s going to extremely important in pass protection and as a checkdown outlet for JD.
Honestly think he’s a number one weapon Sunday.
Worth noting that we’re a very different team than either of the first two games against Philly.
Game 1: Jayden not 100%. No Lattimore. No Allen
Game 2: No Ekeler. No Allen.
Huge. The quick passing game is huge for our time of possession drives if our run game can’t get going. I imagine we will use him a lot to neutralize their pass rush and force them to play up a bit

Gotta have the same strategy as Lions, long drives with scores. Ekler is a huge part of that, as is Brob and WR’s + Ertz…especially Ertz.

The Chargers are my #2 team. Ekeler fumbled at the goal line so damn often it drove me nuts (he also scored a zillion TDs, to be fair). Plus he looked slower and just overall completely washed.
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed watching him in burgundy in DC. He’s awesome as a #2 back behind B Rob….much better fit than the #1 role he was asked to do in LA.
I hope he scores on Saturday.

Ek spreads the defense and helps open lanes for JD5, great check down and wheel routes runner. X Factor for sure, just wish he had a little bit more speed but he does handle the blitz well.

Ekeler is still a rb1 imo. Maybe not over a beast like brob but mfer is still rb1 quality.

Another thing, Q isn’t 100% and Dyami is a playoff riser right now so he may get the most shots at the ball then ever and maybe with Q not being 100% Terry can bully him a bit off the line but we will see. Jalen may not be able to run much either since he’s absolutely not completely healthy
There’s a lot of different situations going into this game.
Jalen Carter will be a big problem for us in the run and blocking protection. I suspect he’s going to go off again we need those option plays and brob does it better than eckler
